I work for Toyota, and the way you explained everything was beyond very informative. It helps a lot for my delivery. Land Cruiser may be expensive but boy they run so smoothly for off-road driving or dry paved surface. It's the nicest car there is! Only wish if this had come with a Diesel engine like in the other markets or at the very least a hybrid. This 5.7L V8 is going to be one hell of a guzzler.
The land Cruiser is an amazing vehicle... but why are they so expensive? Doesnt seem to fit the "Toyota" theme. These are the same price as most high end SUV's.

This Land Cruiser has ZERO heritage , the 2017 Land Cruiser 70 series has heritage. To bad you cant buy it in the states, this is a "mall crawler." Google 2017 Land Cruiser 70 series to see true Toyota heritage.
Mate, this is basically a Lexus just Toyota branding, in which two are built by the same company. And I understand what you're saying, but since this is Japanese and not German engineering it is: cheaper repairs, more reliable, and will last longer with less maintenance. But it does come with that 80,000$ price tag that many Luxury cars have.
Too bad I cant afford one. I would love to have this suv.

The video says its a 2017 but the key tag from the dealer says 2016...arent some changes expected for 17?
From the research I've done, there weren't any changes from the 2016-2017.

Land Cruisers are expensive because they are for people who can afford it. Thats why I drive a Sequoia, an excellent choice at 50% less ... its for those who can't afford an LC, and will never cross a desert :))

i cannot understand that... in some land cruisers the max speed is 180 km/h, while in the others it is 260 km/h.... anyone tell me please ?
180 might be miles per hour and 260 might be kilometres per hour

really love this SUV , but the stupid that Toyota did the spare tire underneath of the truck..if you're living in those snow state the salt will rusty the cable line and you can't take off the spare tire when you need it's and you do take spare tire out be ready to pay over $1000 to pay for Toyota to get the new cable for the spare tire..own one Toyota be there and done that ..
We have a 2001 4Runner with the spare on the bottom, and it's been through horrible snow storms with a lot of salt. We can still remove the tire easily. No rust.

Because it is body on frame. A 4Runner is not a family car. It is a body on frame Midsized SUV, a Highlander is a family car.
