Any singer that can make a Taylor Swift song bearable has my vote. 🤘🤘
When ever you get into a niche genre like this, the “culture” behind it is more important than anything else. This kind of metal is not my thing, and at the same time I had no idea what she was singing because I would not listen to Swift even if my nuts were on the line. All I was aware of was her incredible range and the horror story emotion she created. The fact that I now know she did that with a Swift song totally blows my mind.
Taylor can only dream about, what she could have been if she had the voice that girl has 🤘🤘 that blew my mind. Sounds way better than anything, she has ever put out
Holy crapfuck, just compared it to the Original. Never did listen to Taylor Swift before and now I know why.

I would not listen to Swift even to save my nuts, so I had no idea what she was singing. The incredible range she showed was not even the best part, because she took a pop song and turned it into something straight out of a horror movie.

Bert doing Iron Maiden was best 1. And he wasn't as dead on as guy that did it few years back. 2nd was Pyry Litunen Holy Diver. He went a little heavier than even Killswitch Engage did.

I'm sorry but that first girl completely ruined Sweet Dreams. Even doing similar version to Marilyn Manson. She really was off from beginning even in singing part.
The dude singing "Run to the Hills" was awful. His enunciation was terrible, and his pitch was off too. I would not have turned my chair for him at all. I know that song pretty well, have known it for about 35 years now. Bruce would be cringing.
I don't know why the American version of the Voice never had any real heavy metal proformences

Actually, he was singing the Killswitch Engage version. If he was going for Dio, I agree it was an utter failure, but if you have heard the Killswitch Engage version it was pretty spot on. Also if you can't nearly perfectly replicate the original then it is best to go in a totally different direction, just as Killswitch Engage did on their cover.

The only man alive capable of doing a entire album of Dio Covers is Jorn Lande.
