Man, Ado has such a versatile voice and is so talented to make even covers of other songs sound so unique, both the live and studio version of her Unravel cover are so bone chilling and give me the greatest goose bumps ever 🎶

This song will go down in history (if not already) and her cover even more... You just feel all the anguish, the terror, the feelings. So much tensiona nd energy in this. Sh's amazing.
Her singing is out of these world. You don't need translation with Ado, just with the fluctuation and emotion in her voice and you get the story
Live you could hear that but since she is a pop artist her music was overproduced which takes the emotion out of it because pop is meant to appeal to majority of the people. It does give illusion of sadness though. Minami had a similar thing happen to her when she got somewhat popular. Before her song crying in rain ended up in domestic girlfriend her music was emotional and not overly produced.(In one song you can hear that she used autotune to fix one part because she got too emotional and it went off key) After that song you can hear that she is overproduced and you can still hear her putting emotion in her songs but the production buries it. One thing that pop production does is cut off the breath which takes out the emotion.

Was not expecting Luke to breakdown in tears from this 🤣 Most people would definitely categorize this as more of a hype song than something emotional, but it's not surprising in the least that Ado's voice would have that effect on people. It's just amazing!

This is by far the single best cover I have ever heard for this song and I honestly cannot stop listening
The raw live version and the precise studio version are perfect. Ado puts so much emotion into whatever she does and the amount of practice she's done to strengthen her talent while keeping the emotion behind it has to be commendable.
My daughter has been on Ado kick recently, and I asked her if she listened to this one yet (we watched tokyo ghoul together years ago). She was like this is amazing.

This cover is incredible, I'm so glad with how it came out. Speaking of covers if you'd be interested in more covers of Unravel I recommend checking out Johnathan Young's full cover of it, he does a pretty good job at it.
As for Tokyo Ghoul and how to get into it. I recommend watching the anime and reading the manga together, so if you were to react to it on this channel maybe you would want to watch episode 1 and once you finished that you would put your recording on pause and read up to that point in the manga and then continue the recording and share your thoughts on both.
There are some minor differences at first, some small scenes and some of the other characters thoughts that weren't considered important enough to be put in the anime, and some differences in translation, but once you reach season 2 or as it is called, "Root A" you will start to see major differences. The problem with the Tokyo Ghoul anime is that it isn't a faithful adaptation and season 2 is more like a fanfiction that cuts a lot of important events but otherwise keeps everything the same and then season 3 pretends that season 2 didn't go off script and doesn't explain a lot of it very well. Plus seasons 3 and 4 feel rushed and are missing a lot of scenes and important dialogue that should have been included.
This is just how I would recommend you start out because reading the manga first will ruin the anime, however going through things in the anime first allows you to enjoy it your first time through and allows the manga to feel more enjoyable when you read through it. I started out with the anime in collage which was back when Tokyo Ghoul: Re (Seasons 3 and 4) weren't released or even announced, so I didn't really have the option to go through it like this, so while I enjoyed seasons 1 and 2, seasons 3 and 4 didn't feel as enjoyable for me, the manga takes the time to explain things and covers a lot more than the anime does which is why I recommend reading the manga after you go through an episode.

I can feel your tears of happiness, this is a dream come true for anyone who’s ever listened to TK and Ado.
You are one of two people I come to watch Ado reactions for. Another song of her's I absolutely adore is her cover of Blue Flame.
My favourite thing about this cover is the fact the vibe it has is so different yet fits Ado, the song and Tokyo Ghoul so well. The original has this feeling of near acceptance, like someone whose on the edge of accepting their fate but still has some resistance left. The acoustic version goes in one direction and takes that feeling of acceptance and sadness to the next level, like someone who has given up. Ado's cover goes in the complete opposite direction, creating this feeling of raging defiance against the fate being presented, the sadness is still there for sure, but it doesn't feel like the emotional focus anymore. That's the kind of feeling it gives me anyway.

@@iCanHasRandomness There used to be a pop duet in 2000s who made this type of music.(they were huge) Band Linkin Park at the time was one of the biggest bands in the world and what Tatu did was took that style and made a pop version of it which sounded very similar to this. Their songs not gonna get us, clowns, show me love are the best examples for it. At the time there was this dumb thing where pop musicians yelled in their songs(because screaming was pretty common in popular music but it does not appeal to average music listener which pop(pop is a genre that takes stuff from popular music at the time and just simplifies it) is made for) and unlike screaming you can't yell in correct way. That is why a lot of pop musicians from that time basically have no voices now.

I just discovered ADO from you. I've never seen you like this for a song and I get it. The original song feels more like sympathy of the anger and trying to understand the pain of the main character. ADO is literally singing this from the MC's perspective. She is the main character in this
