Demanding EVERYTHING in EU4 is COMPLETELY BROKEN

- In today's Europa Universalis IV (EU4) video we will be unlocking the amount allowed to be demanded in war and increasing the max from 100% war score to up to 500% and seeing how the game looks with this change. This means that nations will be allowed to take basically whatever they want, including full annexation, assuming they can win the war, and should let us see some wacky outcomes!

#eu4 - Hry
Idea: Eu4 but tech regresses (start at 32, finish at 3)
Not possible, sadly. Game mechanics only go forward for technology 😢
This would be so crazy with the imperialism cb and the adm efficiency early game. Also would cannons just disappear?
@@Chewbertwould it not be possible to make a script that edits the game save technology and launch it every 20-40 years?
Make the techs progress "forward" but each tech only provides malices
Return to monke?
9:21 "Somehow, Ming Returned"
Qin was the first Chinese dynasty that was claimed to be when they became a empire rather then a state but didn’t last very long from 221-206 BC
Also had my favorite Chinese Emperor, Qin Shi Huang (like the only Emperor of Qin but what ever.)
It's also the reason why China is called China.
@@p.r.o.d9685 why? he was quite the tyrant
@brtuh5865 but most of the stuff written about him where from the Han Dynasty, The Dynasty right after the Qin. So take everything with a gain of salt.
Not everything
A lot of intel on pre-Han China comes from oracle bones and things that can be deduced(like "what happened to all those diverse ideologies from the Zhou Period?")
Even if the Han were not to be trusted, and I do think they're reliable for the most part, there's a lot of shit the Qin themselves wrote down patting themselves on the back for the "good job" they did
A suggestion: A game where everyone starts with insane diplomatic reputation and diplomatic relationship limit so every country has like a dozen allies. Would it hinder wars and conquest or just make every war bigger. The people deserve to know.
Also how much would it break both the game and chewy's computer???
Sounds like Victoria 3
Ww1 in 1454
An Idea for 1.36 would be to have Zoroastrian persia (with sassanid or Acheamenid territories) in 1444. heck, have them and other ancient empires exist in 1444 like both romes, Mauryas or guptas,
Honestly, Arabia or Egypt seems like the most interesting reworks for me. It's about time that these formables got some new content.
I’m looking forward to Georgia or QQ
I never get tired of the Thuringia bit.
It really does look remarkably like a pp
Look at Sweden after they took land from Denmark-Norway and before they got castrated.
Chewy you are genuinely one of the nicest CZcamsrs that I know out there
If only you knew me closer 😈
He's cool
Give them nothing, but take from them everything!
in original europa universalis you could take 1, 2, or 3 provinces or full annex any non playable nations in a single war.
I can't wait to play 1.36 Mamluks. I did a 1.33 (or 1.34 I forgot) run, turning into Arabia, and getting the Arabian Coffee achievement. I'm glad they're receiving more content.
Suggestion- A world where AE does not exist, BUT overextension is more punishing (Double, Triple, etc the penalties) to hopefully balance the AI slightly
Idea: All countries start with 100% Revanchism, it never goes away, and both losing or winning a war adds an additional 100% stacking modifier
Do some super states videos. Like maybe “What if Texas had full tech in 1444”.
Classic Thuringia.
I hope to see Yemen pop off in the coming DLC
"Bless the raynes down in africa"
Dam you played suzerain too? Cool
Have to wonder what blobbing chaos would happen if this was also combined with the No AE mod.
In 1.36 i have a huge hope for a silent update of hisn Kayfa like for crusader states having the ability to form the Latin Empire (Im not sure if it was ever mentioned in 1.35 Dev diaries) like a formable tag of the Ayyubids + a couple flavour missions for them
Thuringia is definitely in the form of the strongest shape, which implies its populous exhibits strong engineering principles.
As for 1.36, I'm still hoping they're going to come out with a few more dev diaries. Seems weird Paradox would give Yemen so much love and not Oman. Also that they'd leave Syria, Iraq, Hisn Kayfa, Fezzan, and Lebanon so bereft of flavor/missions with what seems like the last Middle East focused update.
Another idea.... at game start, have ALL provinces owned by 1 country. Every year, national unrest increases by 1 for this country. It never goes away and this starting country is destined to die slowly and painfully. Obviously this will fracture multiple times, but what country will rise from the ashes?
Watching this plus your current Swiss campaign in your main channel and I think you should do a max tech Swiss campaign.
Can't wait for Byz and Persia, they really needed some love tbh. Mamluks too, their mission tree is trash. Glad devs noticed what community wants :D
Idea if possible: All regions outside of Europe are colonial. Can also decolonize entire world to make more interesting and see who colonizes what
I like so much the subtle "left coast" joke
bless you for getting that ancient graphics mod to work
Speaking of that loving small nations inside big ones and back and forths and such. One of my favorite runs of CK3 had like this 500 year long series of stand offs and wars between an independent Kingdom of Persia and an independent Persian Empire. Going back and forth. Sometimes the Kingdom would be on top and have the Empire basically as a landlocked tumor inside it. Sometimes the other way around.
Love CK3 for that happening more often. But nice when things like that happen in EU4 as well.
I love that ur the successor to Drew in the map-watching game
I hope I can be at least partially as worthy
Bohemian Egypt sounds like the most Gypsy place ever.
Idea: eu4 but mission trees are randomized (could be very cursed)
I'd love to a game with Zoroastrian Yazd released in 1444 with max tech just to see that beautiful religion cover the map.
Always love playing as a Jewish memeluks, looking forward to having a proper mission tree to explore
I'm looking forward to Byzantium since when I first started the game I choose them first (I had no idea how to play and essentially just brute forced my way into developing a strat) though I also hate how debuffed they are which will be even more of a challenge than we are currently at
Your overextension is dangerously high!
I'm excited to have a reason to play Armenia and the surrounding area. Also, Byzantium being harder but flavorful is exciting.
You missed that Burgundy came back as well next to the the tiny France crushed between Spain and GB
Russian Columbia up to indonesia is really ambitious
I can’t wait for those Arabian ideas man. 25% cavalry:infantry ratio from Arabian ideas + 10% from sunni + 10% from aristo ideas + 10% from reforms = 105% Arabian Cav armies.
Late game Arabian armies are gonna be nuts, I cannot WAIT to see how that plays out.
mega hype for this idea
You should do a video where nations can only take 100% in peace deals
Now that was a beautiful Bohemia
12:47 The Protestant/Catholic map is very similar to the "Tomato Europe vs Potato Europe" meme.
I really hope Byzantium is renamed to Eastern Rome
It will after u return Rome into Roman hands
@@drankjehierdrankjedaar3822 Working on it
Yeah it will be a decision or mission reward I believe
I am super exited for arabia will do a rassids playtrough as soon as it releases
Idea: EU4 but everyone has the same units. Ottoblobs have no advantage, Asian countries are equal to european ones, etc
Are you going to be playing in the all gamme run
I forgot this is modded halfway through and got really weirded out by the sheer bizarreness of the map
How close was oirat to forming the mongol empire? A few more provinces in Russia and Persia and they might just have done it
Why didn't this show up on my youtube homepage? Of course I check your channel every day so I did find this video, but not fast enough. 10 hours.... shame on me
CZcams punishes me 😭
Suggestion, at the end of the video do an sped up timeline
Overextension is just a number.
Good day when Chewy post
Do you mind uploading the save on your dc? Id like to continue the timelapse in vic2 :D
Dang that Persia's thick
Honestly, I wish it was this way.
Yay for big Bohemia.
Lore of Demanding EVERYTHING in EU4 is COMPLETELY BROKEN momentum 100
Also pls do the knights all tech and monuments and do that to all holy orders
I use this normally, but 9999 warscore. I hate late-game, high-dev wars where im fighting a big country but can only take like 3 provinces per war and it takes decades to even make a dent.
Its already balanced, overexstention, coring costs and AE is the penalty for taking a ton of land. Not sure why the limit even exists in some paradox games.
by late game you have warscore cost modifiers and adm efficiency to take more land in wars
@@justarandomweeb4356 its never enough to have realistic wars. I can take more in 1445 wars simply because the land is less deved.
2:20 PER VEND TONE O MOR PER LIRI ALBULEN O DO E BEJM ARBNI
Is it just me or is the PLC super hit or miss on the current patch? Poland just doesn’t take the Union way more than it used to for me
Rassids for sure. Amazing ideas, rare religion, and now with 1.36, a fully fleshed out mission tree.
you should do some ck3 sims
Well, I'm georgian
I think that says enough.
I wish they reworked colonial regions and migratory natives again, they've been all but broken ever since Leviathan and they never touched them since. Both colonial mechanics need a rebalancing and American/Polynesian natives need to be refined eventually
I love playing egypt, and i will play egypt first most likely. The old byz mission tree was kind of an l
Honestly it´s getting a bit repetitive and annoying how France always gets conquered these days. Spain and/or Austria and/or Britain really seem to divide them every time, so those guys really ought to be nerfed somewhat next patch imho. We don´t need BBB every game, but I can´t remember the last time France reached 1821 as a great power in these videos, and that´s just flat-out too much in the other direction. There is a reason that all of europe had to unite against them several times. My guess is their bonusses kicking in too late in the game and spain and austria´s kicking in too soon is what causes this. Not sure what easy fix there is though
You can make the shape with Brabant , with Venice from Padua to Istria, and in CK2 just go to Wales you can make it with eastern half. Maybe devs are trying to tells us something. 🍆😆
I hope they also give some love to the Caucasian nations (Georgia, Armenia, Circassia, Avaria & Gazikumukh for example) and also to the other minor Turkish beyliks and make Rum a bit more unique.
Can U unite the continents as nations? plz
Working on it!
Yes 👍
can u make a video without Muslims? i wanna see a normal world
I’m going for ere, this because I’m a romaboo 😅
i would love to see some hisn kayfa in 1.36! they’re getting some love right? right? 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲
