- Can the Rabaconda Tire Changer change grom tires?
Unfortunately NO.
We are here to provide a solution to that problem.
In our opinion the Rabaconda street tire changer is a game changer and will be the next big thing in the industry. We are here to help bridge some of the gaps in the design to help us with our professional use of the tire changer. We are working on a kit to allow your Rabaconda street bike tire changer to also do smaller wheels like the Honda Groms, Kawasaki Z125 and anything with a 12mm diameter axle. This kit will come with everything you need to do adapt the machine to function reliably with the smaller axles. More details coming soon!

That's a very very good video!! Thanks for sharing the tire change on Grom! By the way, have you ever managed to bend your custom made 12mm spindle?
We have made a few different variations and it will bend if you put too much stress in the wrong direction. Next option is to find stainless steel spindle. We are trying to make a kit for the Groms once we get it set.
*Update:
We are using a high strength material that will bend if used incorrectly but it's as strong as physics allows a 12mm spindle to be.

What sizes spindle did you have to get for the Honda grom?
It’s a 12mm spindle since the grom axle is 12mm in diameter
That’s what I thought but I can’t find a 12mm spindle anywhere on rabaconda. I can find it for the dirtbike tire changer but not the street bike

What’s the trick to inflating lol
Inflating should be straight forward. Sometimes you’ll have to massage the tire to get it to seat correctly.

I'd like to sell the initial ones for around $100 plus shipping since these aren't completely perfect yet. Once we get it more correct on the second batch it will cost more due to the extra labor.
