  • Disclaimer: First time this has ever happened to me. I was overcharged for my visa upon arrival in Uganda, at Entebbe Airport. By one individual. Credit to the other honest employees that were able to lead by example and represent Uganda amazingly.

      In regards to the Visa application, they don’t issue them upon arrival anymore. You have to apply online before travelling to Uganda. When your Visa is approved, you’ll get a receipt from the payment you make and that’s what you produce at Entebbe. Before getting your actual Visa. Good luck with it all 👍🏽

    • @tymelondon
      @tymelondon  Před 2 lety

      Yes, you definitely need to have your Yellow Fever Booklet ready to produce, upon arrival at Entebbe Airport. It is mandatory for all visitors.
      In terms of where to get the vaccine, I am not sure. I got mine a few years ago. Ask your GP/Doctor, I am sure they will be able to advise you on that.

    Tyme London, I assume you hold a foreign passport hence you pay for a visa into uganda. I would advise your followers or British Nationals to always check on FCO website. Other countries too like US, canada etc have similar sites to advise its nationals. All visas now are issued online, I have recently applied for mine and I got it in less than 24hours. It’s straight forward process. You also pay online with a debit or credit card. I once had an issue at the Entebbe when my passport was stamped with an expired stamp. I was so happy last time I travelled they now put a sticker in your passport than a stamp. I think we have to adhere to new changes and we should not be so corky because we hold powerful passports! We are just lucky to be fortunate!
