Watching that gun crash with loss of house air, I think if I was the plant engineer, I'd be specing a small air system modification. A check valve, pressure transducer, and a 25 gallon accumulator. Guns don't start until the accumulator reaches (say) 50 PSI, and if house air drops below accumulator pressure (or some PSI limit) the guns retract using the air in the accumulator.
How did the system 'Not Know' the pressure was dropping dangerously low or that the house pressure was not even on for that matter, no interlocking that says everything is on and normal? craziness
Stan, very interesting seeing it in action. As a coater that sprays manually, I know there is overspray. Watching the run it appears there is large amounts of overspray. Do they collect, clean , and reuse their over sprayed powder, or is it waste? Just curious. Thanks for sharing your work!/greg
Nice you finally got some sunshine..
Glad you got those leftover materials over to Steve.
Good one Stan !
Steady progress but still lots to do, thanks for bringing us along and for all your work to show it to us

Great job Stan
What a project!

Miss doing these with Frank, doing escalators now. Hope you’re doing good stan
They should install an interlock on the conveyor system controlled by a pressure switch on the air system.
Glad you have a twisted strap on your bibs. That keeps you from getting hit by lightning.
Can’t believe you went and saw Steve and didn’t drop by and see me!
How close are you?
@@ShadonHKW about 30 minutes west from Steve or 20 from Frankfort
@@bcbloc02 shoot me an email with your contact info, I'm heading as far South as I can get when I am clear of this job.
Looks great! Will they add/program a shutdown for low air pressure?

Everything gets reclaimed
Loss of air pressure should of initiated an emergency stop of the line and spraying process I would imagine. Is this a control logic problem?
Coming along nicely, Stan. Is Karen doing alright with all the weather?
We are doing well, did you guys get hit with the storm?
