    Broussard has always had this take of we will talk about Russ thirty years from now like we talk about AI. I wasn’t really following the league until AI was older, but wasn’t he the successor to Jordan in terms of style both on and off the court? He influenced the players on how they wanted their games and personas to be dripping in, for a lack of better words, swag like him. Not even hating on Russ, but I grew up with him in the league and never as a kid nor as an adult have I had anyone around me really being THAT inspired by him or his game. At this point, it seems the basketball world looks at AI for his contributions to the culture of the game over his actual play, especially given analytics these days. If we are already seeing holes in Russ’s play over the course of his career and he hasn’t contributed nearly as much to the culture, I’m not sure what we’re going to fondly look back on with him.

      Totally man. People started wearing headbands just cause AI. Westbrook is explosive..AI is a top 5 ball handler with some one of the craziest lay up packages ever. That’s why he was so hype not his stat line. Dude would juke you outta your shoes n reverse double clutch lay up like every point. Russ has similar stats but nowhere near the skill set. I’d say Kyrie is a much better comparison in todays game

    It’s not totally Russ’ fault. Russ was never comfortable of being a role player. He’s used to being the go-to guy in OKC. But his performance with the Lakers this season was totally not acceptable. He does not really fit in. The management and scouts are to blame, not Russ.

    Westbrook is only looking for his individual stats. A.k.a. STAT CHASER. Not a championship type of player.

    Ask a silly question. His scoring is the problem so tell him how to solve his shooting woes. I wonder if one coach told him why he is missing so much? LA has the highest paid coaching staff in the league. No matter how long a player has been in the league. Whether it is one year or 20. If a player is shooting bad it is a coaches job to correct it and not give an opinion of why he can not shoot ( or shoots poorly) after 20 years in the league. The coaches are more liable if Westbrook was brought in to start at the point guard position. Protect my 47 million dollars that I just spent. Don't tell me to get somebody else. The cheap way out. Spend another 47 million on another point guard or 2 million to find a coach that can teach my 47 million dollar player to shoot better.

    The entire interview he took accountability about his bad play, but he’s also correct when he said he wasn’t given a fair chance. Both can be true

    • @jeffreekitty2
      @jeffreekitty2 Před 2 lety +7

      Seriously? He wasn't giving a fair chance? You are as delusional as WestBrick fam. He straight up stunk it up. He had games he could took over and didn't stop with the BS maybe he should've tried to take care of the ball more and less air balls and stop dribbling the ball off his foot every 2 games.

      @@jeffreekitty2 exactly he had a chance he played a full season and had a chance to take on a bigger role with ad and brown both being injured for a lot of the season. He barley took accountability all year and played awful for a large part of the season. Him picking it up for a few weeks when they are already basically out of the play-in means nothing

    Russell Westbrook has blinders on, he can’t shoot and he won’t play defense! He blames Vogel but Vogel kept him in the staring lineup beyond what others would have or should have! He can’t shoot yet he often takes the most shots. Please Lakers do what you can to ship him out of town!!!

  • @bennyjones3336

  • @twodeepupyours508
    @twodeepupyours508 Před 2 lety +3

    Russ gets his points, then he tries to get the assists and forces wild passes that's why he's a turnover machine. He runs the 24 down then passes the ball forcing his teammates to take tuff shots then goes to crash the boards. He not a team player he's a stat padder and that's why he's a loser not a winner.

    • @shane694
      @shane694 Před 2 lety +1
