After doing 3 2. 3 2. Conbo launcher you can get the combo command grab foward 1 2 1+3 into a meter burn telport which can do a 1 1 air combo meter burn telport again to a 1 1 2 for an easy 40% even without the second meter still does around 34%
Smoke and Sonya is good to it makes Smokes Smoke port ability EX air combos last longer by pressing square square R1 jump back up and square square EX smoke port you can easily get 40-50% combos with this guy but glad to see that smoke is a more mix up type character now
Can’t wait to use smoke rn I’m dedicating an entire season to a single character rn I’m doing Scorpion and he’s pretty tough to use against almost everyone cause his overhead sucks and even with scorpion kameo it usually gets blocked
Smoke is so hard to play. Took me an hour and a half to learn two combos, and I still only get them once every three tries. Been getting my butt kicked online with him. Netherrealm always makes my favorite characters the most difficult to play as.
Bruh it can take me up to a week of hours daily to get a combo down. Keep practicing for a few. Then break with invasions or something completely different. Then go back an practice again. Attempt to try in a match, don’t worry about the set. Go back to lab again and rinse an repeat. Gradually you will start to get those combos. Raiden in last game had a 351 with a jump in. Seemed impossible. Tweedymk helped with my timing. I land that combo in mk11 and some people just rage quit lol. Keep practicing. One last thing, smoke appears to be an overdose so expect a nerf.
Hey do you have any tips for hitting the Vapors cancel during a string. For some reason i cannot get it to work but in neutral i can do it perfectly fine
You have to do combo + vicious vapors back to back really fast. Then when you see him turn into smoke hit cancel. Sometimes i hit cancel twice and that pretty much hits everytime
I don’t advise getting use to smoke. He gonna get patched. He has to many teleport moves…and 2d attack reach. Way to fix him without a complete nerfe; 850 health. I wanna see more health adjustments then frame data an stuff.

If you play mk like veteran you master the bread and butter then you go other combo routes. Depending on who you are fighting you can't do that many routes if your trying not to get punish hard.
The guy in the video wants to do optimal meterless combos. Smoke can do it using cancels. He tries to spend bar when going invisible or a little extra damage on a combo with teleport. Nothing wrong with that. I'm sure there are other routes and different kameos that can extend...

just hit f12 left trigger. its really not that hard.

there is more routes. You can combo off any of sektor moves. Not sure why he doesnt do that here.
