Lane Clyde Frost (October 12, 1963 - July 30, 1989) was an American professional rodeo cowboy who specialized in bull riding and competed in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). He was the 1987 PRCA World Champion bull rider and a 1990 ProRodeo Hall of Fame inductee. He was the only rider to score qualified rides on the 1987 PRCA Bucking Bull of the Year and 1990 ProRodeo Hall of Fame Bull Red Rock. He sustained severe injuries at the 1989 Cheyenne Frontier Days event when the bull Takin' Care of Business struck him after the ride, and he was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

His final resting place is breathtaking. His family took such care, and consideration in making it about him. It shows not just a final resting place, but their love for him. That is awesome to see. I really enjoyed the movie 8 seconds, and learning about the real cowboy behind the movie, Mr. Frost. May Lane continue to rest in peace.
Bake, i generally dont follow rodeo, but you really made me care. Thank you.
Great video. So sad, so young. Thank you for sharing. May Lane rest in peace💞

GREAT video Randy!🤩 I REALLY did love it 🥰. I remember this dude…great video!
Nice video man. I was in Cheyenne at the time he was killed. Everybody in the city was really saddened and shocked. It really put a dark cloud over the rest of frontier days.
Glad you enjoyed it! I bet it was a sad time. He was such a bright light! Thanks for the support!
Oh, my goodness, only 25 years old. His family had to be heartbroken. I'm glad something good came out of it with protective vests. I wish it wouldn't always take a tragedy thought to make such needed changes. He surely has a beautiful headstone and a least he died doing what he loved. RIP to Lane and may God comfort his family until they are together again. Such a sad story but you did it beautifully Randy. ❤💐
As always thanks for the support Flo! It’s a great movie but his real life was even better when you really dig into it!
