This was something I had always wanted to do. I am now 64 and in bad health. So most likely it's not going to happen. I think I was born in the wrong generation because all the things you do are things I never thought about growing up but now want to do. With that said I would like to send a message to all the young folks out there. Live your life to the fullest because it goes by quickly and in a blink of an eye it's over. Follow your hearts. I do get to enjoy some truck camping still so I have that and love watching you go on your adventures. Be Safe and God Bless.

Glacier is my favorite national park. It is really awesome and every body should see it at least once in their lives. That mountain weather up there can change on a dime. It's still hot and sunny down here in Maumelle!

It was fun to have a little tour of the inside of your tent! It gave us insight into the smaller details of trail life. Love learning those details!

Watching this video brought back so many memories of my hike of the CDT. Definitely be careful on the snow. I almost died in the San Juans from sliding off a cliff.
I lived in Great Falls, MT from 1985 - 1989. I was in the Air Force at the time. I remember going up into the mountains in the summer and experiencing snow, Snow in July. Ain't life grand?
Woke up to snow on My Evans in 78 Colorado mid August it happens but melts fast get going
I love how comfortable you are outside!! When I backpack, I close all my vestibules, somehow that will keep out danger..lol

Oh my gosh!!! We left Many Glacier on the Thursday before the snowstorm was to hit. We stayed in the part of the hotel that didn’t have an elevator….on the 4th floor. It was a workout. Also…the bellhop with the flowing blonde locks earned his luggage hauling tips!!! Loved Many Glacier! Glad you played it safe!
This trek looks to be one of your most challenging. Glad you have hiking experience.

It's really a blessing to see that unbelievable scenery in person I bet it comes back in Kelly's dreams. This trek is her version of Neil Armstrong on the moon and she's the astronaut now. If you had an American semi-longbow and two cedar arrows with Grizzly heads you could BBQ a wild sheep. I hear that they are some of the best eating game meat, along with caribou and elk. Maybe that's too bloody for CZcams but it's how we all got to
the modern age. You're dead a LONG time. Go for it! (In your lifetime) This is the only time you get.❤🎉

The sheep (not goats) were fun to see. It’s funny that they are so accustomed to seeing humans that they don’t run away.

The bighorn sheep will mostly chill around hikers. You are likely to see mountain goats as well but those were sheep. The boat tour at Two Medicine is awesome to take.

My wife and I took the very last boat ride there at Many Glacier in 2022. That was quite a trip
Of my top ten treks of all my time the first three are my three trips to GNP. And, as is often true, the best way to experience this National Park is to walk it, live and sleep in it, for as long as your other obligations will allow. Yes, you are going to have an amazing, at times breathtaking, hike and we are all looking forward with great anticipation ( no pressure!) the video documentation of your journey.

That was a great plan to go up and over where the snow was b/c that looked very sketchy. Glad you are back on trail. I will be in Yellowstone National Park with my wife and family at the end ofJuly I think I’ll just miss you guys.

I'd be in trouble with a mile-per-day goal there because I'd want to stop every few seconds to look around for a few minutes.
To hike the PCT or CDT in one direction in one year, unfortunately, you will usually have some snow to contend with unless you skip around. Be careful.

.. Beautiful trek .... Pretty much first 1/2 SOBO is near winter conditions ,, NO air mat ?? will need 2or 3 foam pads just to handle the cold hard ground ... body needs the rest .. Stay Safe ..
Foam pad has been just fine. Will likely have my thermarest sent to Colorado

The bqear spray seems to work well most of the time for the black bears, but, they're videos on the internet showing they the spray doesn't stop the Grizzlies.... be careful ! Saint Mary's is a sweet place for sure..
I wish there was some way to post that a room is needed, a website so that people who live outside GNP could help thru hikers. I have three open rooms and no way to find out when thru hikers needs them. Is there a site?

Those mountains are incredible, but to me they're pretty intimidating too. I know you guys are being careful but gotta say it, be careful! Also, anybody know what month this is? Does it really snow in June or July in Montana?

In theory, yes. Some hikers actually did this but I don’t want that many logistics this early
