Union Springs & Flagpole Knob

We decided to head to Union Springs as it wasn't explored by us. The day started out sunny and soon began to rain once we got close to the mountain. While climbing up it started to snow and really became very slippery once we got to the obstacles. Overall it was very beautiful even with the Jeep struggling on the ice. Also we found a stranded Jeep up on the mountain. Not sure if it ran out of gas or couldn't make it over the ice rocks.

I have to agree with you there! I went back to West Virginia today to check out Canyon Rim thinking it would be snow. It’s definitely beautiful when there is snow.
