Petros Klampanis - Interview/Performance

In this video, we meet the newest tutor to join the Discover Double Bass faculty, the great Petros Klampanis. After following his playing since 2015, I was thrilled to meet him in person and discuss all things bass! Our conversation covers everything from Petros's musical journey, studying with bass legends such as John Patitucci, his personal approach to improvisation & rhythm, combining jazz bass with traditional Greek music and his top tips for expanding your musical potential. Of course, there's also time for a solo feature at the end of the video, so don't miss his groovy performance of the jazz standard Just Friends.
