This is why I support juve.
The grinta, history, passion,heart,soul all embodies this club. I remember the champions league final in 2003 where juve lost against milan. I would stay out throughout the night watching juve and even wrote all the names of the players on my books in school. For me I feel part of this club even if they don't no me or recognize me that's what been a true fan is all about not just a follower. It's a pity that italian football has lost its prestige as in my country Nigeria you will hardly find any true fan of juve. For me remembering guys like vialli,del piero,nedved,zidane,davids,conte,montero,buffon and lots more makes me feel part of the history of the club. RIP my hero#vialli#❤️🙌🤍🖤🙏😭
Interesting to know we have the same feeling as juventini. I remember that champions League final as well and I still don't know why I just started to like this black and white team. Wow! I’m an Italian Juve fan. Born bianconero and will die bianconero. It’s great to see there are true Juventini around the world. Being a Juve fan is not easy. The club with the most losses in CL finals. But that makes Juve even more special somehow. Being a Madrid or Barça fan is just boring. Hugs from Europe.

I am an Arsenal fan but I loved Vialli, I always remember the incredible 4-2 game against Liverpool in the FA Cup and going crazy when Vialli scored. What I loved most about him was he always played football the best way... with a smile on his face.
As a lifelong Chelsea fan since 76, thanks for sharing mate, I live in Vegas now but have seen the outpouring of LOVE from players and supporters of many clubs. On a personal note, Luca was my all time favourite, when we won our first FA Cup since 70 in 97 - the team called the newly appointed manager (who'd been benched by Gullit most of the previous season) and our little captain Dennis Wise - loved him so much - HAD Luca walk up and lift the cup - even though it was Dennis as every schoolboy's dream to lift the cup that's such a transparent insight into how the team LOVED him. It'll be the same for me when Bergkamp passes - decent men are beyond the bollocks of my club - your club! Thanks again for posting mate x

When he became manager of Chelsea I was so amazed how this passionate extrovert striker, built like an ox was so eloquent, sweet natured and softly spoken. Just seemed like one of the nicest people in football. RIP Luca

Since then, Juventus fans are really deserved for the club to become the Kings of Europe.
They reached 5 Champions League Finals after Vialli lifted this iconic trophy in Rome, but nothing.
They lost twice to Real Madrid in 1998 and 2017 and also failed to stop MSN's Barcelona for claiming the second Treble in 2015.

It was right about that Serie A. An amazing tournament between '80s and '90s. Full of talents, charismatic characters, competitiveness. Very far from the current mediocre one ☹

I am distraught, he was one of the last things remaining from that period where Juventus dominated European football and didn't turn up for finals just to lose them. After he left the club stopped winning anything except in Italy! He also won the UEFA Cup with Juve plus the Cup Winners' Cup with both Sampdoria and Chelsea. True legend for all his teams.
It's not true that after he left we didn't win anything outside Italy because the following season we won the Uefa Supercup against PSG 9-2 on aggregate and the Intercontinental Cup against River Plate

Saddened by his death, I still remember when he signed for chelsea, a great great player to watch.
I never knew he spoke english so eloquently. I fondly remember watching Juve in the 90's with my dad. He loved that forward line of Vialli, Rava, Del Piero.
Scott minto was saying that when he went to Chelsea he was reading Childrens books to learn English but within 6 months he was almost fluent. Shows how much drive he had 😯 he really will be missed . Spurs fan
He spoke English at home being his wife British/South African. They chose London as place to live
My first time I ever watched him was in WC… everyone was expecting him to be the star … unfortunately he hasn’t been up to the expectations… then he had a magnificent year with Sampdoria winning Serie A.. then moving to Juventus and Chelsea playing really good football ⚽️

I was lucky enough to see him live, growing up as a season ticket holder watching the blues, and to this day it's one of my favourite Chelsea teams. So entertaining to watch. Luca you embodied everything good about that team. Always played with a smile on your face and always 100% committed.

My favourite era of the club too and it's a damn shame that the late 90s Chelsea never won the league, as I think they would have been popular champions.

I became a juve fan in my teens watching Vialli Ravenelli and a young Del Piero in European football highlights show shown in middle east back then. Vialli and Ravenelli were just amazing together back then and made me love football and juve for life
