Nice reaction. One of my favorite songs and performances from Babymetal. It really shows how much they've grown. Not just in age but as performers as well. During the tour for the 3rd album, they said they would be adding in a new mature Kawaii to their performances. This performance was as mature as it comes. You could really feel the bond between them. When SuMoa walk off at the end it hits home how they had to go on without Yui. What we didn't know then but know it now is they walked off into their own Arkadia. The 3rd album did better than either the first or second and went on to chart higher than any Japanese metal artist in US and the UK. Firmly putting Babymetal at the top. Before folks would refer to Su as Queen and Moa and Yui as Princess. But now Babymetal has released photos of Su and Moa sitting on thrones side by side. Elevating Moa to a Queen in her own right. So proud of them.
Nice one, thanks! Ah, the "Legend M" version of "Shine" is by far my favorite! This is an extremely beautiful and emotional song. And the way Su-metal performs it is just... perfect. I consider this song and particular performance one of her finest works ever. See you in Arkadia :)

Excellent again and thanks for persevering. This Legend M performance of 'Shine' is just so special with only the guitar, Moa and Su on stage - and as you said, it just feels very poignant. It makes it even harder to believe there is not something in the belief it is about Mikio. 'Shine' is my own favourite song of the Trilogy and this is my favourite performance of it ... in my opinion it may even be Su's finest vocal performance to date. On to 'Arkadia' next ...

But some songs in a specific performance is iconic....Death for Legend 1997, No Rain No Rainbow in Legend S... And Shine for LEgend M. Having Moa being the center of attention for this song is so fitting since it was her Bday concert (hence Legend M(oa))...... And just having Moa and Su perform this is so fitting with the lyrics, after all the trials they've been through, the loss of Yui and Mikio, the uncertainties ..... And now they find strength in each other to walk a path together.... There was a interview called the Babymetal Chronicles where Su and Moa talked about their concerts and performances.... In Shine, Su said that thought they were never touching, She still felt like they were hand in hand during this performance. 🤘🦊🤘
I think this might be the single best performance if any of their songs. Proves that with the correct choreography and song Su and Moa work perfectly as a duo. Awesome reaction to a special song.

What i also like about this is everyone can have their own meaning of this, i always say it is meant to represent the ongoing cycle of birth, death and rebirth according of what they want to express but I'm also with BM fans thinking this is a hidden tribute to Mikio Fujioka-sama sad and tragic departure as well YuiMetal withdrawal in 2018. Thanks for coming back and watching Shine at Legend M 2019 MoaMetal 20th Birthday version, is a very special performance with only the two of them, our queen and princess. Also one of the few rare times you see MoaMetal playing a guitar 🎸

The word is (nothing completely factual as Amuse keeps everything pretty close to the vest) that this is actually a recording being played back of Moa playing the guitar. This song is supposedly a tribute to Mikio and it may have been one of his guitars on that stage. Moa was nervous to play in person and she did not want to dishonor Mikio’s memory therefore it was a recording she made being played back for that song. This is one of my 5 favorite songs by BabyMetal and I am very glad that you liked it. Take care. Until next time.

The second instalment of the "TRILOGY OF LIGHTS" after "Starlight". This song fans assume was dedicated to guitarist" Mikio Fujioka" who passed away in Jan 2018 & "Yui Mizuno (Yuimetal)" who left Babymetal in Nov 2018 due to undisclosed health issue.
The guitar which Moametal plays is a replica if not is one of Mikio Fujioka acoustic guitar 🎸. It represents the Analogy of Mikio Fujioka who passed away and Yuimetal who left Babymetal.
