Just googled her and apparently, she had to decline the position at Ceaser's Palace because she tested positive for cocaine use :( But the better news is she got back on her feet and is an executive chef in Houston, keep up the good work J!

Contestant: has a horrible attitude full of ego
Ramsay: It's a cooking contest, not a personality contest (cough, ratings)
Contestant: has a fun and friendly attitude ("Zacky Wacky")

I put Jon right there with Stirling and Rochelle for most wholesome competitors on HK. Had loads of reasons to be bitter, to be angry, but he was always cool, had respect for his opponents, and was one of the few chefs who got to keep their jacket after being eliminated.

I had high hopes for Zach at the beginning when he finished the first service almost on his own after almost breaking down, but afterwards he just became more and more unbearable.

I feel like the constant losses may had started adding pressure and he just wanted to win, but yeah...I feel bad for him and the men. This was my fave Blue Team, tbh.
I really enjoyed some of his remarks, though, aside from the arrogance. I wonder what his cooking classes are like, tbh.

Did Dan seriously spell "stupid" S-T-O-P-I-D when describing Michael, after he was kicked off HK by Ramsay?! Oh, the delicious irony of him slagging off someone else's intelligence while misspelling the word with which he had described them!!

This is one of the seasons where I know none of the chefs, so this will be a good video to watch to learn their names and a bit about their personalities.

The winner of this season failed a drug test apparently and didn't get her job... That sucks. I've never known a "sober" chef -- and I know tons of chefs. Bullshit in my opinion. At least she got $250k anyway. Hopefully she spent it on her own eatery.

Cooking is the profession with the highest rate of overall substance abuse problems. Construction work takes the top spot for opioids and cocaine but overall it's cooking. Doesnt help that you have the bar right there when you finish work.

@@tinkerer3399 Looooong hours, shit pay, and one mistake and you feel like a fucking donkey for fucking up and having to refire a dish. Totally understandable why chefs would have a high rate of substance abuse.

If i remember correctly Gordons brother has a drug problem, He probably more than most does not want that in his kitchens. It is also probably a requirement of the production company.

I don’t think there is an issue with wanted a clean head chef. You want someone very stable and able to lead the team to success.

A drug test is standard for big jobs like this. Plus, a lot of chefs turn to alcohol because of the stress, but hard drugs is a whole other matter
