That and RG Mass Production EVAs [the old awesome ones from End of Evangelion not the new generic grey dudes in 3.0+1.0] are two I'd LOVE to see, but the Neon Genesis stuff is very rarely utilized in merch now. Which really sucks because that means the only MPE kit that will ever exist is one of those lame 90's High Grades who's decals are now so old they don't even work, and because it means Jet Alone will never even get a kit because even though both Unit 03 vanilla AND it's Bardiel variant got an HG model, same with both Unit 00 designs, Jet Alone remains the one humanoid EVA to not receive a model kit. Hell, I'm pretty sure Unit 04 got a kit and we never even saw it in the series.
The end piece on the barrel is a muzzle break, like something you'd see on the end of a Barret 0.50 Cal sniper or on the end of a tank cannon. The purpose is to redirect gasses being expelled out of the barrel to help reduce recoil when shooting.
If we want something different from this line, then we need Unit-03 to come with Baradiel parts and we need the Eva Series from End of Eva. Also Unit-05 would be interesting.
Eva-08 is much like her pilot. It's...very cool looking for sure, I just wish we knew a little more about it or how it came to even be there. lol Whatever the case though I do love its head design and the pink color scheme works surprisingly well.

Funnily enough, that bent barrel would work just fine. Demolition Ranch has a fun video of him shooting through literal hoops of PVC pipes, where the bullet just skids along the whole thing without any problems. Obviously aim is affected...

I think if I ever get this kit, I’m going to paint the arm parts black to get the 3.0+1.0 version. I love these kits, but there’s just so little variation. It’s the same frame, armor (with different colors) and a different head. I know the black won’t really make a difference, but it’ll be a little more variation between all the Eva kits
After seeing the Mark 6 CGs, I am waiting for an RG EVA 13 The two spears and four arms might be a breath of fresh air in this EVA line. Hoping it is just not Peeee Bandai.

Most HG had those issues, even the higher priced ones. my Hi Nu Vrabe only had 3 hands, 1 for rifle or bazooka, 2 for sword or beam saber

DX is just expensive AF or sold out if you didn't already got it by release. I got my hands on regular ver of Unit 0.

Ok I just found out that the normal hight of the Eva is 41 meters tall so that’s actually a 1/144 scale model kit size well for Eva.
IIRC the Evas in NGE are 40 meters tall, while the rebuild Evas are 80 meters but I’m not so sure
