This is one of the best mosturizer ever. It's save even for a hypersensitive skin like mine. So soft but not oily when i use this lotion. Really love this ❤
I'm loving this product. It locks in the moisture without making my face greasy. Also gives off a nice natural glow.

@@drecrown7604 it has a Dewy finish but it’s not oily if you know what I mean…like it doesn’t feel greasy throughout the day and it is dewy but it’s not too dewy we’re it looks oily it’s good if you like a natural glow…

Hi, im very late but i just ordered this product :) i have combination skin that tends to be very oily on the T zone (+ clogged pores), and i expected to receive the lotion for normal to dry skin but instead i got the one for dry to very dry skin... will it work on my skin anyway ? Will it be too heavy ?
Update = It works amazingly !! its not heavy since the texture is great. what may break me out is my too heavy/greasy sunscreen. i havent found a great one yet. but you can definitely buy this cerave in dry - very dry it will be even better this winter. Remind me to update yall when its summer again ✌🏼☀️

I started using it a week ago, I have combination acne prone skin, it really helped me repair my skin barrier and my face stays moisturized throughout the day, no flaky or dry skin anymore, I bought it cuz it claimed to be non-comedogenic but I started getting closed comedones as soon as I started using it and I read somewhere that even tho it claims to be non-comedogenic it contains comedogenic ingredients? If anyone has better info on this lmk pls
I saw videos that say non comedogenic is a marketing term. You need to look over the ingredients. At the same time, brands like CeraVe says they test their products to be non comedogenic even if it has ingredients that say otherwise.

Hey!! Ive never used this lotion but I heard ppl say its good for oily skin too. but if u dont mind spending more money u could try the cerave pm moisturizer. I heard its great for ppl w oily skin since its ultra lightweight (ive never tried it so idk) IF U TRY ANY OF THESE PRODUCTS LET ME KNOW HOW THEY GO!!!!!

It may help but I recommend using more serums and stuff…but if you have oily skin I would recommend the daily moisturizer instead of the cream bc the cream may break you out more since it had heavy hydration

For dry skin I recommend Cream but this lotion also works for dry skin :) Truly matter of preference

My suggestion the cream is great for the body but the lotion is nice for the face. I think you’ll enjoy the lotion in my honest opinion!

Try using it as a night moisturizer and not a day one ! So if your skin gets oily in the morning youll just have to clean before putting a good matifying spf to go 😊

I broke out using the lotion! :( I never ever get acne on my forehead, I can always count on that being clear. After a week of using the lotion I started getting closed comedones on my forehead :/ I think it was cuz of the fatty alcohols in the formula. Gonna look for something else, anyone have good recs?

I found a better moisturizer! I’ve been using the Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer and it hasn’t broken me out at all. I think it’s got better ingredients (imo): ceramides, hyaluronic acid, squalane, and glycerin. Pretty similar to the Cerave Lotion in terms of consistency. Also around the same price point.

Writing late , but still:
First ,I would not use a product on my face, unless it is specifically writen , that it is indeed a FACE cream/lotion.
I am seeing a lot of comments from people using this lotion on their face and writing , that they are noticing negative reaction to it.
Second , the thing is - there is also CeraVe moisturizing face cream, which for me works perfection on my skin ( and yes i do have sensitive skin). I have not noticed burning, redness, pimples, nor any other kind of negative reaction.
Third ,If you compare both products you will see some difference in the ingredients, which leads me to believe , that this is exactly the reason why its not so nice for your face.
So just try the face cream for your face and lotion just for the body. The package is small, but it goes kind of a long time, bcs you dont need much from it. There is a cream for normal to dry and dry to really dry skin, i use the normal to dry one. ( for 104ml it is a lillll expensive tho) Also if you keep it in the fridge and then apply , it is sooooo much nicer , it feels amazing and helps with morning piffynes

Please can anyone tell me what's the difference between the" moisturizing lotion" and the "daily moisturizing lotion"?
Not a difference in those but if you are talking about Daily Moisturizing Lotion and Moisturizing Cream the different between those is,The Daily Moisturizing Lotion is a lightweight, fast-absorbing moisturizer, while the Moisturizing Cream has a thicker consistency….Moisturizer is used for restoring the moisture into skin and cream blocks/prevents moisture loss….While both have a place in your skin-care routine, for dry skin creams will have more advantages when used regularly, as opposed to lotions because they lock in moisture better and for longer now obviously if you have oily skin the cream is still good and you can use it daily but if you do I would recommend using smaller amounts at a time…I think once a week or so you can use a heavier amount but you just don’t want to over do it bc it will make you break out…so basically the cream is for more dry skin daily (ppl with oily/ combination skin can use it as well) but if you have more oily skin for daily use I would use the moisturizer…and in the winter since skin usually is drier in the winter it is more beneficial to use the cream no matter your skin type lol

There are no skin lightening ingredients in this lotion. Use a serum with niacinimide and antioxidants to treat acne and hyperpigmentation before this lotion

It should last at least 5 months if you only use it on your face twice a day

sandeepani kulathunga - if you check the back/bottom of cosmetic products, they usually have a logo of a lid being opened and a number. The number suggests how many months you can use the product from the very first time you open it, until it becomes ‘expired’.

It could be an ingredient irritating your skin…so if you have any other products that happen to irritate your skin see if they have a similar/multiple similar ingredients to see what it may be
I find it to be very good but my friend tried it and he had the same problem as you and he checked the ingredients of multiple other products that broke him out and they all had one similar ingredient in them

I've never experienced this but I highly recommend checking in with a doctor or just switch moisturizer.

Alot of dermatologists recommend CeraVe because it’s a safe choice. The lotion (not the cream) is not oily or greasy and is usually very safe for acne prone people. I’m acne prone and I always go back to it! I try alot of moisturizers
I’ve had REALLY bad acne and really oily skin. But I used the moisturizing cream with a really drying retinoid. It does great for me! I put it on my face while it’s still damp Bc it works better like that for me. Although I will say I have only used it while using drying acne products. But if you get the lotion tell me what you think!
