On my scorecard I had it 146-140 Benitez. Benitez was a great fighter in his day.

Wilfred Benitez was a great fighter but this was a boring fight. Carlos Santos ran from Wilfred Benitez sort of like James "Quick" Tillis did from Mike Weaver.

One of the most boring fights of all-time. It put me to sleep in some rounds.

Wilfred Benitez had all the talent in the world but lacked the heart that is needed to be a truly great champion. What a wasted career.

3 time world champion. The youngest world champion in history

@@mauricioochoa4179His greatest victory was against Duran. After that him career went down hill fast.He lost to Hearns, lost to Davey Moore and lost to some bum named Matthew Hilton. Then he was gone. When people talk about the great fighters of the 1980's his name never comes up.

@Samuel Fagbemi The only thing he'll go in history for is being the youngest Champion.Otherwise he's forgotten because he wasn't a great champion.Heck,he never even held a undisputed title.

@@melvinsims5379 You’re ignoring his career before Duran, all the great fights against Cervantes, Palomino, Curry, Whitaker, Leonard, and so many others. Carlos Santos (40-3) was no slouch either. And he made Duran look like a fool. Benitez is as much a legend as the other ‘4 kings’. Give me a break. And again, 3 time world champion and the youngest world champ in history in one of the greatest eras of boxing!

@@mauricioochoa4179 I was a big fan of (The Gifted One)Benitez. But his biggest problem was he didn't know how to be a Champion.Example, everyone knows that he was a master at fighting off the ropes. And yet when he fought Leonard and Hearns he very rarely if ever deployed this tactic.Instead he chased them around the ring and got his Sox boxed off.Bruce Curry beat him around the ring like a paper doll.So did Harold Weston,Davey Moore,Mustafa Hamsho and Matthew Hilton. And this all happened during his prime. He had a great style but he wasn't a great fighter. PS, he never fought Pernell Whitaker.
