  • HELLO YOU!!!!
Maybe this is old news but I created this video for my ultimate group in The Makers Narrative last year and they are all over it now so I wanted to share 5 ways that you can attach posts to polymer clay. All of these work super well, it’s totally subjective and personal on which technique works best for your process!
BONUS* In the beginning of this video I also share how I get the backs of my components pristine - removing any gloss, lumps, bumps or debris without sanding, and within seconds.
Heads up - I drop an F Bomb in this video and eat a chocolate bar - I filmed it for my Patreon not for CZcams so its more relaxed, don't come at me for it....I swear often and in most of my videos I'm mindful but one will always slip through the cracks.
Other techniques that I use that I haven't filmed are Epoxy Resin and UV Resin, if you want me to share that I can add it to my list. I know there are loads of videos sharing how to attach posts but maybe you might come across mine at some point and it helps you!
Two of the makers I refer to in this video are:
Rita from Piino find her amazing designs on her web

Khat from Bubblegum Whiskers who has a channel right here with her gorgeous designs / @bubblegumwhiskers

My favorite Polymer Clay Suppliers in Australia, I really like a one stop shop, there are loads of suppliers out there but these 3 are tried and tested and in my own opinion by far the best in terms of quality customer service and care, with a high quality range of supplies that are curated for makers by makers. There are lots of other suppliers out there and you might have other preferences but these are just my favs!
Blackbird & Violet - Cody & the team have one of the most amazing custom acrylic product selections, hand poured resin molds, 3D printed shape cutters with the option to create custom cutters, supplies for resin, polymer clay - oh and of course they carry our tools!

Over the Rainbow - Heather & the team are in my opinion the OG suppliers, they are where I started buying from and I have had the most amazing support from them always! You may even fins some of my tools and images of my work over there!

The Whimsical Bead - Dani is one of the most talented and kindest makers I know, her workshops are top notch and she stocks amazing supplies - her service is fast, efficient and personalized - its really dangerous doing workshops because the impulse buying happens every time!
