I like the designs of the dinosaurs but some of the postures on them (especially austroraptor) look like they are breaking their back 🗿

There is an update releasing this year, adding not only remodels but 20+ new creatures all with unique features! After that the dev is taking a break from the mod other than bug fixes and ports to work on an ocean mod and a dragon mod.

I absolutely love this! I adore natural history so seeing favourites like Cotylorhyncus, Megatherium and Paraceratherium in Minecraft brings me so much joy!

Fun Fact: Pachycephalosaurus is actually part of completely different Herbivorous theropod family than Trex! They assumedly fought the same way bighorn sheep, using those domes on their heads as battering rams. Great video as always!
@voidwastakenI wouldn’t say that. She got all the mods information out there and that was the point. The only error I even noticed was the Pachy one and it’s because I’m a giant nerd
Little addition: pachy is not a theropod at all, but rather a marginocephalian. Its closest relative in the mod is triceratops

Only issue is some creatures need more shape. Like the croc having a bend to the tail perhaps will do it good

not Tryna come off as rude but there is Alotta inaccurate facts (ignoring mispronunciation)
Barinasuchus is not a dinosaur, a crocodile relative (not actual croc)
pachycephalosaurus isn't a theropod, its also herbivores and its closer to triceratops
idk if kentosaurus' thagomizers are considered spines
paraceratherium isnt closley related to camels or elephants, oddly enough its a rhino so its more related to tapirs and horses
Dunkleosteus had teeth, not in a traditional sense. more of a beak
Anurognathus is actually a pterosaur.
tyrannosaurus rex isn't a lizard, or closely related (same with barinasuchus and all other dinosaurs) main 2 groups are Squamata and archosaurs (and turtles)
this is not to say the video is back, I am actually quite a fan. I love your content and it was one of the main channels that got me introduced into alex's mobs

am i the only one who finds it ironic that a mod all about bring back extinct creatures, has itself been revived from extinction so often (im referring to how many times "Jurassic-craft" has been revived, and this being the newest iteration)

Honestly when it comes to these mods id rather they just have random chances of prehistoric animals running around instead of crafting them.
Minecraft is a fantastic world, it could totally just have prehistoric animals around.
There is an option in the configs I'm pretty sure that enables natural spawning, however it is off by default.

How do you make the handmade club? I’ve seen it in JEI but I can’t find the crafting recipe
You don't make them, you get the handmade weapons from trading with Gigantopithecus, as shown in 3:48
I know you said that the Trex drops items passively but when I tamed one it didn't drop anything after a couple of Mc Days. Other videos say it does it when revived but I tried reviving multiple and no luck.

Velociraptor is not dropping anything, it must be amber buttons and normal Doors or can it be a other type of those?
It worked for me using Amber buttons and Ginkgo Doors

the dinosaurs do, like trex and stuff, learned that the hard way
With default settings they shouldn't spawn in naturally, however there is an option in the configs to turn on natural spawns.
