- Meet our neighbors, get their take on living aboard and see the life at Little Harbor Marina through our eyes.
Less than 1 week from our departure date... Its been a long slow process to get the boat ready, and we feel confident in ourselves and our repairs. While preparing we have lived aboard at a marina and what an awesome experience it has been.

Brian Adams thank you Brian! it was a pleasure meeting you and your girls! We wish you nothing but the best as well!
Cool video guys. I just found your channel and subbed. I have been wanting to live aboard a sailboat for nearly 5 years now and early next year I am going to take the plunge and do it. I hope you all have safe travels and fair winds.
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. THE PLUNGE! Let's Goooo! Congratulations.
Dope, glad to see the Channel is growing!
Thank you
2:06 hahaha nothing like falling into the water right after you got out of bed.
I feel like this is the rich version of being homeless. My friend just bought a boat to live in a marina, small part of me is jealous.
LOL
If you can find a way to live for about $500 per month, this is just a wise financial decision in some cities. The perfect time to do this is when you're 20-something and save up money to buy a house.
Hell, if these guys are splitting fees 3 ways, they could be spending only $200 a month on 'rent'. This is very wise.
Being on the water is an added bonus.
Ask him how much his slip fee is per month
Loved it, look forward to following
Thank you.
Excellent video boys. Inspiring as hell
Thank you! Great to hear:)
Here from Another Adventure! Good questions!
You guys are too funny, love it!
Thank you Doc for watching, glad you enjoy!
Wishing you three the Best in 2017 for Safe Adventures on the High Seas!! A neighbor in SW Florida
Thank you neighbor. It was a pleasure sharing Little Harbor with all of you. Happy new year!
Hi Guys , some times it just good to set back and take it all in.
Capt Chef Mark SV Alcina yes it is...yes it is
Love your sense of humour guys. The 3 Stooges of the marina :)
Lol Lary, Moe and Curly for sure. We love to bring smiles.
you prolly dont give a damn but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an instagram account?
I was stupid forgot my account password. I would love any help you can give me.
@Nikolas Stanley instablaster :)
@Keanu Jayce I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm.
Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Keanu Jayce It worked and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thank you so much you really help me out!
I know its old, video but curious how you guys survive with no income paying slip fees for months etc.
Keep up the great videos, cray as you guys are.
Well Terry the three of us worked for a year straight and saved all we could, cut costs and during that period at the marina we were using the money we had pulled together.
Best video you guys have put out to date! LOVED IT. Keep up the good work. If you guys sail up to Nova Scotia you have to come for a visit! I can give you all free tattoos ( yes I am a tattoo artist among many other things) -Chad
Coast Life why thank you! Just like you we get a little better each time it seems. I really hope we can make that happen in the future. Not counting anything out and we would have to take you up on the tattoos:) doesn't surprise me that your a man of many talents.
We are in fort Myers beach at the mooring field if you guys need to provision some more as your heading south get ahold of us and we can give you a ride to Walmart or publix also a bus that goes to both for $1.
Making money here is pretty easy working at restaurants or bars if you need to replenish the cruising kitty.
Awesome thanks for reaching out! We will keep you in mind. We just loaded up at Bulk Nation..if you haven't been there you should check it out.
beginning is funayyy......

Glad you appreciated it lol.
Freedooooom! that's what's drawing us to the life too. Also cool roller furling boom on the trimaran at the end. Anyway good video guys! The skit at the start was funny. Interviews we're well paced and interesting. Looking forward to seeing you sailing on your own and setting out! Keep them coming!
Interesting how every one of them said the same thing..freedome! Yea that trimaran is so user friendly and easy to maneuver..not exactly like ours but still able to learn from it. Thanks for the compliments:) we will keep them coming.

Nice video
Thanks
Having lived in a couple of marinas in the keys I was surprised to find out that despite all the bare pole sailing stories spawned by cocktails while waiting for the green flash in the evening most sailors never leave the marina!Ha! but its ok they are still a fun bunch.Half of them cannot tie a bowline w/o almost overamping including myself.[but I can do it with much contemplation and trial and error]seems the rabbit does not like to go in the hole the right direction every time.I love to see young people scarf down food like hungry wolves-they don't have enough structure in their lives to eat on a schedule so its scarf down all you can,You never know where your next meal is coming from! I miss those days!Me and a buddy of mine went out for pizza one night in Memphis.Tn in 1975 and by morning we were in St.Louse.Mo calling our parents to let them know we headed to Alaska.Things just happen eat while you can.
Dam I want some sausage pasta now.
Hahaha
whats the name of the marina you live in?
That's a sick amount of pasta on your trays(not plates) lol!
Agreed and it doesn't look appetizing at all. It's a space saving thing. We use the same three trays for most meals.
No judgment here, I had friend who played hockey(he was a defense-man) and he ate all his meals out of a casserole dish. I'm just impressed by the amount of pasta.
We aim to impress. Sounds like a big guy, unlike all of us.
i fuckin love there trays fuckin troopers
I was like DAM, it did look great and what a large portion too:) at least it was appreciated! Captain America really appreciated that meal:)
The boat must be somewhat spacey.
Not indefinitely in a Marina. A few months to save money...but alot of sailing in between
The McCaw parrot was cool 😶
We love Willie!
Why am i missing you guys? weird :)) Hello from ASYLUM.
lol I don't know why but you are also missed.
V nice.
Living on a boat is 100% mental. I have lived on a 34' and a 44' both were monos. I should have kept the first wife, sold the 34' and gotten a bigger boat. Time goes on. I should have divorced the 2nd wife and kept the 44. Although I now have a home in the desert that is paid for and am working on a solar powered lake boat - water to float a boat is all I really need.
Lol "at union rates"
I bet tones n Jar shared their pasta and Joel ate his loaf on his own
Haha you know it.
Hey! What are the costs of living in a marina??
I still remember we were paying $650 month for the dock. All that's left is food, boat projects/materials and drink.
What a great life ! If I was 35 years younger, I think I would be looking for an old "fix-er-upper" sail boat and join you at that marina.
Of the few other ways of life we have now lived, that was by far the comfiest and most welcoming.
👍🏻
Cool to get some guitar lessons.
Yea so cool. Gordan!!! What a trip. Miss that guy.
Are you guys still doing this?
There is still one remaining original bum and now there is a girl named Michal on board. We have sailed many miles since this video and the boat is now secured in the Dominican Republic.
Where is this marina?
In Ruskin Florida. Little Harbor Marina
😊
I love your iMovie bank of sound effects!! I use them in all of my films, documentaries, and motion pictures, bio-docudramas and all of my other wanna-be off-off-off Hollywood productions!! Those sounds are all old friends now. CaptBeauregards Yea they get the job done. Funny you can recognize them. Sounds like you are big into making your own vids. We'll check it out thanks!
Whats the price per day usually to stay in a marina?
It varies greatly depending on where you are. I believe this marina cost us $650 per month which is roughly $23 per day.
@@Bumsonaboat is it allowed to anchor just outside Marina's for free? To save money maybe marina one day a week to refill supplies? Or would it be a pain in the ass to live that way?
@@fittutube that also depends on where you are at. In this particular location it would be a pain. There was no close Anchorage.
Hello
am also living near Marina Del Rey , I want to living on someone's aboard slip, can you help me to find some captain who like to share house to someone?
I'll put my feelers out. Let you know if something comes up.

Here is an idea...clean up that pig pen.
Brilliant! It's ideas like this that keep us moving forward as a species.
I am so glad I could help out.
Broke boi with the android phone lmao
worst: rampant alcoholism and alcoholics in denial. 10:00
Judgmental piece of shit aren't you?
Freeloaders come in all shapes and sizes... Anything to live off someone else's energy
Profound observation sir
What's that all about ?..... their not freeloaders
Paying for a boat / slip / utilities is nothing close to freeloading
If you want to make your vlog "interesting" and entertaining (allowing for you having entertaining personalities) - Try shooting your vids in "real" time and being your "real" selves and carrying out your "real' life activities, then edit it keeping the good bits.. This clip is contrived and worse than a B grade movie. Bottom line, cut out the B grade acting - just be real yourselves in real time and you might get some decent subscriptions. VLOG = video "log" (not fabricated video).
Joe Bloggs appreciate your opinion. However, we are not getting paid for this, it is not a job or obligation this is what we do because we enjoy doing it. We enjoy making the spoofs and therefore will probably continue doing so...again thanks for the constructive criticism.
@@Bumsonaboat I liked it! I hate "vlogs" that are just unedited ramblings
