      Typhon has a bit more speed on it , but the throttle response is slower than the Losi,
      The Losi feels more punchy as you both nice in their own way .

    Nice comparison bro. I've got the TT Pro and it's a solid truck. I've also got both Typhons 3s and 6s and the Losi compares more to the 6s Typhon for build quality. The Tenacity platform is a good one. 👍

    • @mark-1rc502
      @mark-1rc502  Před 2 lety +1

      Yeah 100% the build quality on the Losi pro chassis is decent ., as you say like a mini 6s Typhon .
      I also have a Losi db pro which is totally standard which I converted into a TT pro.
      Arrma a good bashing car but Losi is nicer .
      Thanks for watching bro 👊

      @@mark-1rc502 I really want a DB Pro but only TTs available locally. I hate the way SCTs fill up with crap. The DB with the wheels on the outside the body reduces the debris getting through the chassis. But the Losi drives so nicely maybe I get another and convert it to a buggy 👍

      Yup it’s the opposite way around for me ,
      The TT pro will cost me around £580. GBP.
      That’s like arrma 6s money 🫣.
      So I bought a used db pro the body shell cost me around £90. With import fee. Then I had to buy the Bumpers and body mounts , but I sold the db shell to help with the outlay:)
      I sprayed my Wheels Silver to match the Falken truck . .

    Love my Losi 8ight and db buggies. They are smooth and handle so good. You can just tell they are a top quality buggy by driving them. I don't have an Arrma yet but might give the Typhon a go.

    The Typhon takes it. I have to say for the price the Typhon is a great little buggy. The Losi is awesome too and I would love to get one some day. Great comparison.

      The Typhon is no doubt very good for the money.
      It’s difficult to describe but the Losi buggies handle very nicely the whole thing feels that little bit special, in uk they’re over priced and parts can be very expensive, and not always readily available so you’ll be tracking them down from the US, and paying tax and import duty on £35 ⬆️ which is not cool . 😏

    • @RCRoads
      @RCRoads Před rokem +1

      @@mark-1rc502 They both achieved the same speed basically. However the Losi has that special feel I guess. Lots of comments from owners of the Losi say the same thing. It just drives nice. Thanks for sharing. The Tenacity sure is a good looking buggy. Today I had some welding done on a gate and the welder said he knew Gil Losi personally. I guess he passed away recently and his son took over the business. The welder also said that Gil Losi lived in the same town as me (Murrieta Ca.) and had his own private track but I cant confirm that but I did find it interesting.

      Yes , both cars have a Hobbywing 3660 4000kv motor.
      The Typhon has a Max 10 esc combo 120a.
      And the Losi is using the Firma Esc with the Hobbywing motor.
      I tried the Typhon with a Surpass hobby 4200kv it was Like a Bat out of hell, but it will need serious work on Cooling so i removed it .
      The hobbywing still get hot but a decent fan keeps it acceptable.

      You may think Losi should be faster than the typhon with 40tooth spur but it depends on Final gear ratio.
      The Losi may be a Touch heavier but its a lovely car. Imo.
