Love these and yes please, I'd love to always learn more about how you approach shadows etc. Love to see different crafters and artists approach to them. I always either just seem to get it easily or just struggle hard. It's so hit or miss for me personally when trying to do the more precise drop shadows etc

Great cards great video, Kelly. They really turned out so cute. At 1st I didn’t think the colors were going to match to good but I love the end result. That’s what I have the most trouble with- choosing colors and how many. Ughhh. I sure hope Ms. Kaitlin has a good night and doesn’t suffer with the shots or her ear infection. ❤

I just wanted to say that I used one of your tips today while colouring. I wanted to use a green that I only had one shade of so I used my cool grey markers to create the shading and then put the green on top. I’m so grateful for the tips you share, thank you so much Kelly.

When my son was about 7 he needed a blood test. He screamed and fought right up until the needle was IN HIS ARM. Then he was like “oh, is that all?” and he stopped. Having blood taken was never a problem after that. So I reckon Caitlin’s blood test will be less stressful than the vaccination.

Just started to watch your videos. I love how you color -- I don't color well at all and don't have copic markers but can do some shading with colored pencils and gamsol but nothing that looks like yours. I never knew how to ground my images -- they always seemed to float. I am going to try your tips and see how it works.

I love the vibrant colors of the girls and snowman! Snow Buddies is one of my favorite sets. It’s cool how you made it look so full of color with only 3 color combinations. The puppies are fun too! Hope the medicine kicks in quickly to get past the ear infection. Enjoy the last days of warm before the cold front hits us 😊

Love them. I struggle with color and love seeing you work through the pink, teal, yellow card. Love the pink hat but what about white could you have shaded it like you did the puffs?

When my granddaughter was sick and in emerg, they put a patch on her arm that had a numbing agent in it to help make it less traumatic

I have been practicing my copic coloring ... I am really struggling with using as much contrast as you do. I end up using two colors for shading partly because I am "afraid" or averse to using such a dark shadow. I guess I just need to get in there and do it. The other part is that I have the copic ciaos... I do have the Set A and Set B which I believe is all the colors available in that line. But if I were to try to duplicate your colors in order to practice with more contrast in my shadows I don't have all the same colors you have. Invariably you will be using colors I don't have.
So the struggles continue

It's okay if our markers don't match exactly as long as you have a good array of colors you should still get a good blend. Use the darks, you can do it!! 😊👏

So, I got some watercolor markers, and have been practicing with them on scrap paper. They are very different from just using watercolors! Is there anything that makes them easier to "blend" when using them on regular cardstock?
I'm not sure how to get a good blend on regular cardstock since it's not made to withstand the moisture of a watercolor marker.
