    Thank you for making the removal so clear and easy to follow. Watched about 5 other videos before this and not one explained it well enough for simple old me to understand.

    For reference, it says Cruze because its actually for the chevy cruze! its probably the only other compatible gear knob for the corsa and vectra available! Thanks for the vid as this asnswers my suspicion in regards to them actually fitting VX lol!

    Is there a video anywhere showing taking off the gear knob for the 1st time?
    Everyone only shows when it's already off, loosened or the 2nd time they've done it

    I'm pretty certain it's called 'cross hatch' ... thanks dude, your videos on project corsa are invaluable to me! I've also got a 1.3 cdti Corsa and have been looking through your videos as I am having trouble getting my car to start after running out of diesel....I couldn't get it started again. As i was on a hill when it ran out, I was getting false readings on the petrol gauge, so i turned it over alot trying to start it. I didn't want to drain the battery completely, so i rolled it down the hill and tried to jump start it, still didnt start. The bottom of the hill was flat and it was only then that i realised there was no diesel in the car. I put in 2 x fuel cans of diesel, but still no good. I have replaced the fuel filter and have bled the fuel system and even tried 'easy start' spray in the air intake....but I have not been able to start the car. Would you happen to have any ideas that might help me get it going????, I personally think that IF i buy a new set of glow plugs and buy a battery charger/starter/booster that might be the solution???, do you think that is a good plan??...
    Well, thanks again and I hope that you keep it up and I hope that you might have some ideas for me on how to get this bloody thing going again .. lol ;)

    Hi George nice video. Are you planning on doing a video on just basic maintenance of the car? There's so many on here that aren't explained as simply as yours is. I.e. refilling oil, water, washer fluid, brake fluid etc, checking tire pressure

  • @craigmorrison3385
    @craigmorrison3385 Před 2 lety +2

    Mate I’m sure your meant to fit the steel adapter you the lever first then push the alloy knob on last and that eBay sticker ain’t the right size. It’s bigger than original ones. That’s why it’s sunk in the middle. Good effort though

  • @oopster74

    • @adavids8027
      @adavids8027 Před 3 lety

      There used to be one available but unfortunately the corsa c hand break sleeve itself is obselete to buy brand new. I ended up buying a second hand plain black handled lever assembly and installing.

    • @craigmorrison3385
      @craigmorrison3385 Před 2 lety +1

      Four bolt from the floor and two though the centre console going going into the sides of the hand brake lever. Undo cable and repeat the opposite way to replace
