Arya is one of my favorite characters in the book. She's only a child, but she's a child forced to rely on herself from a young age, never quite making it to the arms of her mother. I wish I could help her and sing her this song.
That song is so fitting for her character! And for everyone reading the comments worrying about her: Arya Stark is Mrs. Martin's favourite character, she made G. R. R. Martin promise her she will survive the final book. So Arya will live beyond the"end".

Triumphant! This song makes me want to spin around and dance! Even if she dies later, Arya's won.
I agree. Arya has been my favorite since I first read the books. But I fear she won't survive until the end. Or maybe she dies at the end. She's just had so much mental, physical, and emotional trauma... I don't see how she comes back from this path.

You're right, in the show she kinda has regained herself. But it's probably gonna be different in the books. Although, it's not impossible since she constantly has "wolf dreams" in the books where she dreams she is Nymeria, leading a pack of over 100 wolves through the lands, killing Freys and Lannisters and such. So these dreams may keep her connected to her Stark identity.
Doesn't mean she will definitely survive, but she could regain herself.

Arya will definitely not die, she is one of the five essential characters to the series (the other four being Bran, Daenerys, Jon and Tyrion) who George Martin intended to keep alive through the story and to see the end. This is not a book only thing either, since Jaqen's actor commented that they (the showrunners) know the direction of the "five absolute characters" must go on, so it seems like George's original plan is still standing, with slight alterations (like the lack of Tyrion falling in one-sided love with Arya while she and Jon are in love with each other) (although I do believe Jon and Arya will end up together in the end).
Being part Cherokee it's fitting any other Cherokees feel the same I hope Arya Stark makes it to the end of the series

Her name is Lindsay Henry and she's a Wolf Princess, who speaks to the wolves in the fullmoon night.
I just got poethic somehow.
This song when it originally came out inspired me to finally take the time to draw my favorite character. It took me several months. I finished it awhile back now. I wish I could share it with you. Love this song.

Ooooh you should, both the book and TV series are amazing!
I'd start with the Hedge Knight stories, they're really light compared to the melodrama in the 'A song of ice and fire' books, i.e. the books the GOT series is based on. You'll get some fun Easter eggs that swing back hard into the later books like 'A Dance with Dragons' and 'Feast for Crows'.
