It was released almost 8 years ago. Not a year ago. I used to work for Gucci. You may have only seen it in your local store when you bought it but it’s been around a long time. It’s a great little bag tho! Good call on getting it. I have it too.

This bag has been on my radar and after watching this review, I think it will be my next purchase! Other than my LV neverfull that I use as a work bag, all of my bags are crossbody bags as I just prefer how they look and I don't carry a ton 😊 thank you!

I bought this yesterday! Legit compared it to other 1955 bags and this fits just as much.
Most important for me is that needs to fit my phone and wallet. No need anything else. That's a bag for. Among the comparison bags, the Gucci stand out. Going to get one for Christmas treat.

I saw this bag online so when I was in Vegas back in August I picked it up. It is a cute little bag and I love it so far. I kind of like that it doesn’t have the metal GG on it so I can wear it sort of low key.

I own the black leather and GG print padlock bad instead since it has a lock. The only issue is that one the strap slides around the loops all over but I still like it. it has got that old money vibe.

This piece has been sold out for a while! I was looking for it for a few weeks but nowhere had in stock nor online. Now I'm visiting NYC and they had it, it is so pretty in person! Went back online and noticed price increase in Euros too.. but they have stock now so placed my order hurriedly 🤭 The dollar is stronger now so made no sense to buy in the US. It's now 930 Eur and I'm convinced it was below 900 Eur the last time I checked.

I placed an order for the cream version the same week as seeing you got yours just a month ago, paid USD 1050 pretax then. I noticed the other day that It’s already gone up now to $1150! Maybe I’m silly but I think that def tells there’s potential with this bag. Love mine in the light color where the monogram is not as in the face and actually very elegant. My only thing is idk why the cream version’s internal lining is not the same Gucci classic microsuede as yours, but instead a canvas fabric ish texture. Anyways, no regret on the purchase and thank you for bringing it on my radar. Really love your channel!
Yes I mentioned in the video about the price increase and I know what you mean. I think once more people start catching on, the price will continue to rise. Thanks for sharing about the lining on the cream colored version. I wasn’t aware there was a difference. The prices increases 😭 😭 can you review the new horsebit chain wallet? It looks like a micro version of the mini shoulder bag with the red and green webbing strap, and a pretty chain too. It looks just like this mini bag but you get an extra webbing strap

I don’t own the Felicie but I have tried it in store. I think the Felicie is a bit flatter/slimmer from the side but a little longer in length.

The shortest length hits me pretty high up, like close to my waist line.

Hi! This one I don’t stuff bc it’s quite structured already and I am not worried about it losing its shape. Also, I roll up the strap and tuck it inside the bag so that takes up a lot of the interior space when I store it.

Yes this definitely holds more. I bought the Marmont super mini and promptly returned it years ago. I was disappointed with the quality and found that the interior was very small.

Nope, the closure doesn’t open on it’s open. It’s quite secure even when the bag is full.
How is this bag holding for you? I think the bag is really cute and functional for a casual mini bag. I have bought one to be picked up at the airport in mid april when I fly out of the country but the one I tried on at the store had a crooked front flap but the SA said that is because that one is the display model, so I am a bit weary on the wear and tear
So far, mine still looks like new. I have a hard time imagining this bag getting much wear and tear bc it’s very durable and sturdy.

@@hellocatwalkcity just an update, I picked mine up in April, I love the bag. The size was just perfect for a mini bag. Sadly I had to return mine because after just a few weeks of wear, the magnetic front clasp ripped the leather part underneath. I was so gutted, I decided not to exchange it for a new one in case the same things happen again. The manager said this bag is one of their bestsellers and they never had one came back with similar issue, so mine could be a dud. Now I am on a lookout for a similar size mini crossbody bag that is within my budget and still can't decide on one. Pochette felicie is on my short list

Hello! Does the canvas start lifting from the bag due to flap opening and closing? That’s the only thing I’m nervous of.
Hmm I don’t think it’ll be a problem. I don’t see any creasing or lifting of the canvas when I open and close the flap.

Debating this. Would appreciate content advice on a larger crossbody for theme park/airport travel please. I have the Gucci Soho Disco but it's a tad too small for my requirements as a UK mum travelling to Europe in Winter x
For your needs, I would do a super lightweight nylon or coated canvas crossbody bag. Something durable and water resistant. Longchamp crossbody or maybe check out Tory Burch. I wouldn’t go high end designer for theme part and airport travel.
MZ Wallace is another option.
I was going to suggest a Longchamp crossbody or backpack as well!

I tried this on the other day. I felt the straps were a little flimsy which is why I didn’t buy it.
