Hi Peter just a note on the motorcycle helmets my friend and I were taking a moped ride to khon kaen 2 days ago we witnessed a really horrible crash involving 2 bikes a 600 CBR and a moped , looks like the girl on a moped pulled out on the CBR 600 but not certain, it had side fairing damage where it hit the ground the guy on the bike looked ok I saw him stood on the road side with leathers and a full faced helmet unfortunately the girl was in a bad way, the traffic had become stationary as the ambulance arrived, the poor girl had died, the ambulance crew placed a white sheet over her body then she was placed on a trolly and lifted into the ambulance she had no Helmet on and died instantly please people wear that Helmet I now have that vision of that life taken away that day, my friend and I couldn't believe how many Thai people were taking photographs and videos of this poor girl, please stay safe and put that bloody helmet on I am upset just putting this message out ,
great comment and your right . Its not worth the risk
Oh man that is terrible. Yes indeed, HELMET, HELMET, HELMET! And not a pleasant memory to be stuck with forever. I too witnessed a horrific accident in Siem Reap, Cambodia, the dead man, no helmet, his body a mess is now a Polaroid forever in my head.
Peeta, you’ve done it once again! Going to places most men dare not go. You are okay in my book. Yah baby!
Fantastic video Peter, looks like huahin is Alive and well. Haven’t been there for 9 years now. Will go on a visit this year
Interesting peter looking forward to more information about the area keep up the good work
Thanks, will do!
hua hin is a lovely place , i was there in october just gone , the bar area soi bintabaht was only just starting to get open ,more girls than customers , the hilton was lovely highly recommended, great beach , got a taxi from the beach area to bkk city centre 1500 baht for a 3 hour journey what a result nice car good driver gave him a descent tip ,
I've been coming to Hua Hin for years I've never done it in less than 3 hours 30 minutes in a taxi
Good times thanks Pete I’m going to Hua hin on the list
Cool footage/view/filming on the. Ride about loved it mate 🤠👍❤️
Peter, I enjoyed the visual fade in you’ve added to the riding section of your video.
Hello Peter: That was a very interesting video. Having a look around new to me places always good. I have to agree completely with the other comment regarding helmet use. Please everyone always wear one. Years ago it happened to me I fell off due to my own stupidity. I was a little rashed up but what really saved my face was the sun peak mounted on there. As I slid down the road face down that sun peak thing stopped my face from touching the road. Great invention those.
Nice video of Hus Hin. Thanks Peter👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Peter the HOON of Hua Hin!! Ive not been YET 5555
That's great, Peter. It's really developing there since the last time I've been, maybe a little too much, but it's good for the locals. I'm quite happy since this will probably be my base soon enough.
Totally agree
My missus lives in hua hin it's a great place. Spent many months there and love it
That's awesome!
Wonderland in the Thai 'winter' !
I love Hua Hin . I stayed at K place across from the Hilton and loved it.
Another great video Peter
Glad you enjoyed it
I’m always amazed at the spider web of electric lines overhead.
Nice video editing. 😎 Also, cool music -- makes me want to dance 😁
Thanks 😆
Great idea with the disposable helmet. Thanks.
No problem 👍
I guess as long as they would protect your noggin in an accident. I don't drive motorbikes, but in theory I'd bring a skull cap/ doo rag and wear that under the helmet. Though with the heat, that might be good in theory, but impractical in reality
Wow Peter, you are such an easy rider!!!
Road bikes on my life Kim
Thanks Peter
Thank you for sharing
💪🏆🤗🙏🇺🇲
My pleasure
A great video Peter. Hope to retire in Thailand one day.
You should!
Hua Hin beats Pattaya every time. Got everything Pattaya does but without the hysteria.
Exactly my thoughts !!
Does it have agogo bars and lady's that work the night ?
Ive done 17 month long trips to Pattaya over an 8 year period and im thinking of spending my next trip in Hua Hin.
Is it worth it for a single bloke that likes the usual 'services'?
( Ive been to Phuket a few times and also Korat (usual reason for that one 😂) and Cambodia in case you mention visiting them).
Thanks 👍
Hey Peter yeah B150 is a reasonable price for what you get. Last long trip to HH I splashed out and purchased a Yamaha GT125 and I now store this at a friends place. Buying your own helmet is a good idea, they are so cheap. Make sure that you go to Cheers bar directly across from le Pub. Also a really good Vietnamese restaurant across the road. Fight Nation is not a warehouse its a huge Mua Thai studio. You're right, there are a lot of new bar areas - Wonderland etc. My understanding is rent is as low as B3000 per month. All concrete, so they empty it out each night and refill everything the next night. All the bars are so close together and can only really have one lot of music broadcasting. I think Soi 80 has recovered but not Bintabhat - I'll be down there on Sunday, at my tattooist, so I'll have a look. I'm in Samui at the moment. Hopefully might see you around HH over the weekend.
Just makes you want to explore! Good work for the tourism board Pete.
i think i'l be visiting that place soon looks alright
It is not Pattaya but then it is not crazy, more laid back.
nice one mate cheers
Thank you! Cheers!
How are the mixed drinks at places like this? Can you get top shelf? Do they offer bottle service?
Been living in HH for 4 years now think there is far too many bars on 94 now those bars you were showing at about 4-20 mins in will be finished soon Was at Bang kapour last night it was very busy with alot of Farrang but they don't go to those bars I have mentioned as they are stuck out of the way After bang kapour we went to Cheers bar was packed on the soi 94 side but empty at the back where those bars are So went and had a quick look at those bars and hardly anyone about Bintabad was quiet until a couple of months ago but starting to pick up again so think that will be OK
Cheers bar is normally busy when they have live music definitely at the back , Tuesdays is the only night cheers doesn’t have music, do you mean baan khun por ???
It will be interesting to see how that massive bar does when it opens next to the rock bar , that will take some customers to keep that open in the future
Live to buy you a beer while in town thanks Todd
Sorry love
I would recommend Cha-Am. Lovely place, although somebody needs do something about all the beaches in Thailand. Too much litter and that will affect tourism. The bars, restaurants and hotels nearby make enough money, to be able to afford to employ people to clean the beaches or, at the very least, to promote anti-littering. Æ 🙏
Have been several times but wanted to go this trip but time not on my side I'm afraid
@@ThailandBound I thought you were maybe retired and had all the time in the world. Æ 🙏
That's a lot more bars there than I realised...looks like could be fun to visit.
Is the beach far away?
10 mins away or you can get a hotel right on the beach, check with Agoda Paul.
Thanks Peter 👍
Man Peter you look like Valentino Rossi driving around..... Cheers !
4:40 that area was open but it kind of died off. I *think* if you go back at night some of them will be open. Not sure I stopped
They are closed as no bottles behind any bars
@@ThailandBound when I was there in late November it was very quiet in that area. I think it would help if baht buses connected it - and the rest of soi 94 - to other areas. It felt remote to me
Is Bintaburger still around? Those onions were so good!
Yes it is
I didn't see it when I was there but somebody has left a comment below you're saying it is
@@ThailandBound I stayed in soi 88 for a month. Did see Bintaburger several of times 🙂
@@ThailandBound Thanks guys! I am looking forward to having one when I get back.
I will tell you exactly where it is , it’s about 200 m from 7/11 going up the hill on soi 94 , on the same side
Cool video, Thailand looking very peaceful. Be there next month
And yet again! A 3rd negative comment...Are you bored today or something?
@@ThailandBound negative where Pete? I said Thailand looks peaceful.
Hi Peter did you film that with a chest cam or head cam. Thanks
A chest can because it absorbs more of the vibration even though GoPro has stabilization built in it's not perfect
@@ThailandBound thank you Peter
they’ve built way too many new bars near soi 94
Absolutely
Did you slow that down . Im used to jack brahbam pete !!
😁
Hello Peter , what is the name of the Hotel across the street from the Wonderland bar complex ?
I will be making a video about it and uploading it once I check out. 550 to 700 baht per night.
It’s called good view hotel , they do monthly rates as well
But you are kind of getting my point from a few videos ago. Too many bars right now, and I'm not sure if you found them all yet there are so many. I think it is very optimistic to think opening of China will fix that. The Chinese hardly go here.
Great video
I agree with everything in your comment other than "The Chinese hardly go here" They do and in big numbers (Tour groups)
@@ThailandBound was not aware of that. Locals say the Chinese do not come here, but could just mean lately or just not to their establishments.
Bars was open in december
Yes I know I was here but they closed at 9:00 p.m.
Its best to have a shiny helmet when you go for a ride
Typical of you Paul 🤣
Was the Repton bar open Peter?
I don't know that one Vinc
I will walk down there tomorrow in the afternoon and find out , I’m sure it was closed in December when I was walking down there , but I might be wrong
Peter, you replied to another comment about not wanting to film these areas at night because of the potential for people to get a bit upset.... Is there that much going on that people want to keep private then? ( if you catch my drift) my first trip to Thailand/hua hin next March and I'm trying to get an idea of what to expect. I'm coming in a group of mostly couples with a couple of single blokes amongst them.
Keep private from family members who might look at the internet then yes
Lol I never considered that 🤣
If I was going to ride around on motorbikes a lot I would just buy a decent helmet and hold onto it. Mind you, if I was going to ride a motorbike in SE Asia I would look like Robocop.
Peter how did you get working visa and a retirement visa
I have someone who has a company here in Thailand that has added me to the books so I pay tax for Thai staff x4.
@@ThailandBound Sounds a little bit shady. With retirement visa working is strictly prohibited. You can work with business and marriage visa. I hope you know what you are doing...
Do you need a driving license to rent a scooter? I don't live in Thailand, I live in Japan. Would they accept my Japanese driving license, do you think?
They'll rent you the motorcycle without seeing a license but if you get stopped you'll be fine if you don't have one better getting International license before you come
What is the name of hotel opposite wonderland ? price range please ?
Going to do a video on it once I check out.
It’s called good view hotel , they do monthly rates as well , im not sure now , but I think it was 12.000 a month including water and electricity
these drive abouts are your best content by far in my opinion ... do some at night
More to come
You stayed in good view hotel then , I was thinking of staying there next trip lol
Hi Peter. First comment on this video 👍
Legend!
Murphy is a good place to buy food. Eddie is 1 of the owners. Nice bloke great food and always got sport on the TV
Is there some reason that you are reluctant to discuss, or even mention, prices of girls at the bars?
Yes because I'm a married man and it wouldn't be right
So empty !! Why ? Nobody more bars than customers
Pattaya is very busy right now. Too many bars in Hua Hin
What’s the point of driving around nightlife spots at 11am? Lmfao 🤡
Jason Jefferson: If you don't get it I would ride around the bars at night sticking a camera in everyone's face at night, when you kicked off your bike or smacked over the head with a beer bottle you might then understand why I film in the day time places like these.
Looks like a pretty rough area, not sure I’d want to be there at night, not even sure about being there in daylight. Any one ever figure out how May motor bikes in Thailand? Thanks for sharing
The area is not rough at all in fact it's the total opposite
Clearly you’ve never been there! 🙄
It’s one of the calmest places I’ve ever been too
One thing for sure Hua Hin so safe , never any trouble, I literally walk around around 2 am if I can’t get a taxi and walk 25 minutes to my condo , never had any trouble in ten years of coming to Hua hin
Invest in a real helmet
For 4 days and I don't go above 40mph?
Farrang especially riding around with no helmets and *NOT INSURED* No matter what folk say.If you haven't proper gear and not Real motorbike or car insurance your effed. Then when foreigner's do get injured and end up in Hospital it's always Go fund me ! I hope nobody gets hurt or killed but don't hire or risk your life for a fkn scooter 🛵 that's not legal.
Clickbait - with all that plastic surgery I’d be expecting “her” to have a tail.
I agree with C.K. 100% You are the 1st person I know who does not like to look at a pretty girl!
