    FRIDGE
    We went with the NX841 Norcold 2-way fridge. It is a fair amount of work getting it installed, so hopefully it will work good.
    COUNTER TOPS
    We got these off Amazon since we have prime and shipping was free. It was cheeper than anything I found locally. They are John Boos Blended Walnut Counter Tops.
    BATHROOM
    Most of the materials came from Home Depot. The diverter bowl is from a company in the UK: www.littlehouse.co/shop/kildwi...
    DASH
    Once again this was only possible because of the very talented Tim Monnnot!!! / @thecalypso5877

    I Honestly applaud you this is a Big Project to Take on for anyone alone or with little help while maintaining a family life and or working as well! After watching so many conversation videos my favorites are the diy. Yeah you can be rich or well off and have one build from scratch but the ones who diy them theirselves seem more proud of the finished product. I know it must be a Bog Sense of accomplishment for anyone who builds one out! Great job!

    Alert!!!!! I don't you knew (too late now), but your son grabbed one of your power tools and proceeded, to turn it on, and use against the bus window. I love kids and want them to be safe, that is why I don't think children should be allowed to play around buses being under conversion. I love what you have done thus far on the bus.

    Could you opt out of the black water tank entirely, and have urine divert to grey water tank?

    • @catmccjk1
      @catmccjk1  Před 7 lety +1

      Alhen Drillich you could. There is a fair amount of debate about doing that. I picked up a black water tank for cheap and have space for it so I opted to go that route

    when doing wiring cutting wires with pulling wires you should use number tape especially if you have to cut a wire you put the number on each side then cut the wire electricians use these all the time

    Beautiful job on the dash. Have you found a heater that works with the system you explained in the video? I have the same situation and am trying to find something that works. Also, have you noticed your engine temps running hotter because of taking out your front heating system?

    • @catmccjk1
      @catmccjk1  Před 6 lety

      I plan on using an electric heater, but in order to do so I need to finish installing a second alternator to provide sufficient power to run it.

    how difficult was it to remove the front heater part and you also said somthing about a heater infront of that door and the just the fans will blowthe heat up? also are those the original fans?

    • @mtbutah3078
      @mtbutah3078 Před 6 lety

      I would also love to know this! Are those the original fans for the defroster? Did tou remove all of the coolant lines? So no inside heaters at all? How is your engine temperature running on hot days? I figured if I were to keep my heaters in my bus, they would help cool the engine on hot days. Is the scoop for your radiator working out okay? I love your bus and vids!

    Looking good! how did you fabricate that airbrake handle?

    • @catmccjk1
      @catmccjk1  Před 7 lety

      duckblind1964 are used a small piece of black iron pipe that I had, and the handle was $1.50 at Home Depot. I then used a generous amount of JB Weld epoxy .

  • @lanksterprice
    @lanksterprice Před 6 lety +1

    I think I would have flip the rockers over and put the usb on the bottom and the rockers on the top.. cords will hang over the rockers .. but thats just me..
    Also on defrost A/C works best will warm air it drys the air faster and keeps fog off the glass... its the reason most new cars use A/C pump at the same time.

    • @catmccjk1
      @catmccjk1  Před 6 lety

    Not knocking your buddies carpenter skills but a bus will tend to twist and such so each joint should have carpenters clue or a good dose of liquid nails in each joint . Otherwise there's going to be a tremendous amount of squeaking and movement in your dash !!
