  • The Bernina railway gained a special aura from its origins as a private enterprise and its raw but enchanting mountain setting. Built on a budget, most of the line between Sankt Moritz and Tirano is exposed, which landed the highest alpine crossing by rail many fans as well as a continuing battle against foul weather. An in depth look with images from the twenties until present, both summer and winter, show how and why this beautiful line perseveres after a century.

Die Ortschaft im Puschlav spricht man „Poskiawo“ aus (nicht Poschiawo).
