    Thanks, I've been going crazy trying to figure this out on my Acura. Thought it was the rear diff grinding. Thank god it's just this piece of metal.

    Excellent temporary repair - I have this issue drivers side 2010 300, all three fastening points rusted though. Yes, axle nut is apparently a 35mm socket and requires breaker bar and pipe for handle extension yikes lol - thanks

    U needed a washer on both sides of the plate but hey if it's not rattling, it's not rattling
