Oh I forgot. Majestic Star Dragon and Majestic Red Dragon also resemble the Crimson Dragon with Chinese-Dragon body style and the same design with the wings.

Almost a year after this video was made and posted. Our favorite Plant/Dragon player Aki has recently received some new support for her style of play. But more promptly, she finally received a powered up version of her signature monster. Named Blood Rose Dragon after her D-Wheel, Bloody Kiss. This generic level 10 Synchro monster has 3200 ATK and 2400 DEF. With the effect of banishing ALL cards in the GYs, including yours, and an additional effect of blowing up every other card the field if you used Black Rose Dragon as material. A fitting power up for Black Rose Dragon. But more fittingly is Blood Rose last effect where, if a card or effect is activated that would destroy a card, then Blood Rose can tribute itself to negate and destroy the effect while Special Summoning the original Black Rose Dragon. Sadly, it is not treated as being Synchro summoned meaning you can’t blow up the field with it. Even still, I think it’s fitting that Aki powered up ace monster would take heavy inspiration from Yusei’s Stardust Dragon and it’s evolution line. Especially Shooting Star in terms of being a level 10 with +800 stats from the original.

I consider crow the extra signer since lifestream was already shown and lifestream is required to merge the signer dragons into quasar. If you need a in cannon reason to hand wave crow becoming a signer before Leo you could say Leo wasn’t ready yet and so the tail rode yusei’s bond to crow instead
well, crow was the only one who could challenge the last vilain of season 1 together with jack and yusei, as aki didn't know how to ride a motorcycle and and leo and luna are kids, their fault for making it a 3 against one and by having the heroes ride motorcycles while the vilain is on a chair.

Like I said after watching the duel... Rua/Leo's duel against Demak, or him having a rematch against Greiger/Bommer would've been the perfect time to have him get Life Stream Dragon.

Stardust Dragon is my favorite monster ever. I always loved 5D's the most ever since I was a kid and Yusei to me is tied with Yugi for best YGO protag, he's just done right and when you think about it, his deck and ace monster represent him perfectly.
That's true since not only Stardust Dragon but his deck also resemble Yusei's characteristic. With the exception of the Stardust archetype, a large majority of Yusei cards are belong to the Junk archetype, mirrors his childhood life as a Satellite citizen. He also in possesion of monsters with interesting (but NOT competitive) effect such as Speed Warrior or Road Runner. His deck also seem to have a lot of cards with protection effect which resemble Yusei's feeling of protecting others.

Stardust Dragon is the leader Red Dragon Archfiend is the Lancer Black Rose Dragon is the big girl. Maybe Black-Winged Dragon is the smart guy. Crow himself is. Ancient Fairy Dragon is the chick. Life Stream Dragon is the sixth ranger. (Black Winged Dragon also counts)
Honestly, Leo would be my pick for the Signer. I've always loved the Morphtron deck, and seeing Life Stream Dragon explode into the eight golden rings to fuse with Red Dragon Archfiend, Ancient Fairy Dragon, Black-Winged Dragon, and Black Rose Dragon to create Shooting Quasar Dragon will never not get me hyped.
Yugioh 5ds is my favorite out of all of the yugioh series. My favorite monster is the stardust dragon, best girl in yugioh is akiza, best bro would be crow and his blackwing dragon, and jack was such a great rival with his red dragon archfiend. It's a real shame that the other signer dragons didnt get upgraded forms or majestic forms. I would love to see akiza summon a majestic black rose dragon or crow summon a majestic black wing dragon Edit: please do a stardust dragon video next lol there's so many cards that are connected to stardust
I use the entire Red Dragon Archetype. I combine their field destruction with the three forms of Yubel. I can use Yubel to stall the opponent to get out Red Nova or King Calamity. The Resonator tuners summon other Resonator tuners. Red Dragon Archetype summons Resonator tuners too. So I do a lot of special summoning.

Yes! The Signer Dragons! I love these things! 5DS is, And forever will be, my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! Series, it has the best characters and story in my opinion, and these dragons were actually apart of the reason I love the season, THEY ARE SO COOL!!! I own almost all of the base ones(just missing Life Stream Dragon), even some of the manga exclusive ones mentioned in this video, And they are also the reason why I actually really love Synchro Monsters in general. So I must say thank you for doing this video!
I like two things has changed since this video. One, Akiza's Black Rose Dragon finally gets an upgraded form. Two, Firewall Dragon getting the errata it exactly needs, where it's second effect is a hard once per turn, and only supports Cyberse cards like it's supposed to. So no more "Cannon Soldier go boom" or whatever.
I wish Black winged dragon would get a retrained counterpart so I can actually be good and synergise more with Blackwings or maybe even some upgraded forms
well that's why they did the counter trap for BW to summon it, and also auster to give it counters when banishing from the grave (ik that does not make him good, but hey at least some connection to BW was made, and I would even say the trap makes one copy worth being run, at least in fun versions) I agree though that a retrained version or an upgraded version that needs it as material would be nice

@@mercfume2073 Blackwings are amazing no doubt but my original comment was more about Black Winged Dragon itself the original card doesn't synergise very well with it's Deck unlike Power tool dragon and Morphtronics, RDA and Resonators and Stardust dragon and the Junk/Synchron cards the only cards they had at the time that synergised with Black Winged Dragon were Auster the south wind and Blackbird close and most of the time it wasn't even ran and people would just Full armor master or Chidori the rain sprinkling as the main boss monster instead though recently they have remedied this with Black winged assault dragon and all the other new blackwing support
I actually wrote fictional lore about a secret Signer... The signer is a decendent of a tribe that guards the dragons and makes sure that the dragons gets to their rightful owners... And one that sends the dragons to Yusei's father and to the others... But fails to send Life stream dragon until Leo awakens... The signer uses a dragons of the ice barrier deck... And his ace card will be Gungnir dragon of the ice barrier with his own summon chant... "Engulf the world with azure flames and burn the darkness that hides within and become the barrier that protects the light! Come forth Gungnir dragon of the ice barrier!" He also has Brioniac dragon of the ice barrier and Trishula dragon of the ice barrier as his ultimate dragon...
When the tin for red dragon archfiend came out and I bought one, not only did I get lucky with the duelist genesis pack and pulled a ultra rare stardust dragon, but I ended up finding out that the tin didn't come with just one red dragon archfiend, I got lucky and it had two stuck together.
Still today Stardust is my favorite Signer Dragon, was one of the first cards I got from a friend when start playing competitive. I would never trade it or sell it
My 1st younger brother when we were kids actually owned Crow's Signer Dragon Black-Winged Dragon and I believe I owned either Stardust Dragon or Red Dragon Archfiend as a kid. I'll mostly likely have the sign that Luna had in that just like her, I too have no confidence in myself that I'm on a journey to change but as for Dragon that I wanna own, that would be either Stardust Dragon or Red Dragon Archfiend
I loved the Synchro Dragons from this Era of Yu-gi-oh. My personal favourite, despite it's VERY specific uses, was Doomkaiser Dragon. A pseudo-dragon that fit the Plaguespreader Archetype well, and was an absolute joy to play in the TF games. He may only be a dragon in name, but he'll always be my number one.
Best YGO anime imo! I just watched it for the first time and my god i enjoyed every Minute of it! The Jack/Carly arc replaces even my all time fav duel city arc ^^

Fun fact, if you have both Red Dragon Archfiend and Stardust Dragon and Stardust comeback during the end phase after he used his destroy negation effect, Red Dragon Archfiend triggers and destroy Stardust, that's when you have the choice to negate it, the choice to keep only one of them
The level of support that each signer dragon has seems releavent to each signer's centeral arcs (Yusei having the most, Jack a close second & Akiza a distant third with Crow, Leo and Luna getting ziltch)
at least Akiza got something in the support. while Crow's dragon got nothing except 2 ards because the deck it is part of rarely plays it. Sad for Luna's dragon. got banned AND doesn't even has a proper deck
The one rex has original crow was supposed to be the final dark singer but due to black wings being popular , Rex became the final dark signer instead and they kept Crow because black wings make lots of money.

5D's was released when I was in high school and my friends and I wasted all our money to get the dragons. Mine was Black Rose and is still probably one of my most fave cards.
I’d be Yusei! I got back into yugioh after watching 5d’s & I related so much to him! And to make it ever better, the first packs of cards I bought after deciding to come back to the game was a special edition box where I got Stardust Dragon as a promo card!! It was awesome!! And therefore if I had to pick a dragon, it’d be Stardust Dragon!!
I love Black Rose Dragon, and its newer Ruddy Rose Dragon form. It is a good upgrade as if you use BRD to syncro summon it, you get the effect of BRD but without destroying itself. And its very easy to get out on the field once you get BRD out.
Personally red dragon archfiend has always been my favourite. When I was a little kid I thought he was the coolest Yugioh monster in the show. Now I still like him even though his effects are trash in the modern day. He is just a bit nostalgic I guess. I have entire DECKS of him in duel links because of how many little strategies I think would make it better. I hope to someday have a copy of him in real life.
This is an amazing video! My thoughts With Crow they should had made him be a villain in s1 and made Crow become a hero after that season. Because of him Leo's character suffered and didn't grow as a character until he almost died thus they had to shoehorn him as a signed later on.
So as a swordsman we were called The Dragons, with myself having the title (among two others) Head, the leader. I find it funny cause stardust was always so cool to me how it could sacrifice itself to save the field and is used by the signer with the head mark.

I like to believe that life stream dragon fell during the battle with the earthbound and black-winged dragon became it replacement when battling the crimson devil
Ik this video is like 3 yrs old now but I think I may have cleared up the 5 D's problem (since there's six) of the signer dragons. (life stream and black winged) My solution/theory is that during the battle with the earthbound immortals Life stream got sealed in armor because of how powerful they were (especially irl) so it got sealed within armor severely limiting life stream and in turn needing to be replaced, so this is where black wing dragon comes in the legendary duelist tries to find a good enough replacement and either creates black wing or finds them. This might also explain the sudden drawn heart on the crimson dragon meaning that the heart was originally an actual signer mark but was lost with lifestream dragon and replaced by the tail. (to keep the 5 D's in 5 D's) My Theory on why life stream suddenly disappears!:)
Stardust dragon and black rose dragon got new support in the ocg called Shooting Majestic Star Dragon and Blood Rose Dragon, also firewall dragon got an errata which gave it a hard once per turn effect and is now unbanned

Stardust Dragon is my favorite monster ever. I always loved 5D's the most ever since I was a kid and Yusei to me is tied with Yugi for best YGO protag, he's just done right and when you think about it, his deck and ace monster represent him perfectly.

That's true since not only Stardust Dragon but his deck also resemble Yusei's characteristic. With the exception of the Stardust archetype, a large majority of Yusei cards are belong to the Junk archetype, mirrors his childhood life as a Satellite citizen. He also in possesion of monsters with interesting (but NOT competitive) effect such as Speed Warrior or Road Runner. His deck also seem to have a lot of cards with protection effect which resemble Yusei's feeling of protecting others.

Honestly, Leo would be my pick for the Signer. I've always loved the Morphtron deck, and seeing Life Stream Dragon explode into the eight golden rings to fuse with Red Dragon Archfiend, Ancient Fairy Dragon, Black-Winged Dragon, and Black Rose Dragon to create Shooting Quasar Dragon will never not get me hyped.

Yugioh 5ds is my favorite out of all of the yugioh series. My favorite monster is the stardust dragon, best girl in yugioh is akiza, best bro would be crow and his blackwing dragon, and jack was such a great rival with his red dragon archfiend. It's a real shame that the other signer dragons didnt get upgraded forms or majestic forms. I would love to see akiza summon a majestic black rose dragon or crow summon a majestic black wing dragon

I use the entire Red Dragon Archetype. I combine their field destruction with the three forms of Yubel. I can use Yubel to stall the opponent to get out Red Nova or King Calamity. The Resonator tuners summon other Resonator tuners. Red Dragon Archetype summons Resonator tuners too. So I do a lot of special summoning.

Yes! The Signer Dragons! I love these things! 5DS is, And forever will be, my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! Series, it has the best characters and story in my opinion, and these dragons were actually apart of the reason I love the season, THEY ARE SO COOL!!! I own almost all of the base ones(just missing Life Stream Dragon), even some of the manga exclusive ones mentioned in this video, And they are also the reason why I actually really love Synchro Monsters in general. So I must say thank you for doing this video!
I like two things has changed since this video. One, Akiza's Black Rose Dragon finally gets an upgraded form. Two, Firewall Dragon getting the errata it exactly needs, where it's second effect is a hard once per turn, and only supports Cyberse cards like it's supposed to. So no more "Cannon Soldier go boom" or whatever.
I love that scarlight's design is reminiscent of the damage that red demons took from its last encounter with junk warrior

well that's why they did the counter trap for BW to summon it, and also auster to give it counters when banishing from the grave
(ik that does not make him good, but hey at least some connection to BW was made, and I would even say the trap makes one copy worth being run, at least in fun versions)

@@mercfume2073 Blackwings are amazing no doubt but my original comment was more about Black Winged Dragon itself the original card doesn't synergise very well with it's Deck unlike Power tool dragon and Morphtronics, RDA and Resonators and Stardust dragon and the Junk/Synchron cards the only cards they had at the time that synergised with Black Winged Dragon were Auster the south wind and Blackbird close and most of the time it wasn't even ran and people would just Full armor master or Chidori the rain sprinkling as the main boss monster instead though recently they have remedied this with Black winged assault dragon and all the other new blackwing support

The signer is a decendent of a tribe that guards the dragons and makes sure that the dragons gets to their rightful owners... And one that sends the dragons to Yusei's father and to the others... But fails to send Life stream dragon until Leo awakens...
The signer uses a dragons of the ice barrier deck... And his ace card will be Gungnir dragon of the ice barrier with his own summon chant...
"Engulf the world with azure flames and burn the darkness that hides within and become the barrier that protects the light!
Come forth Gungnir dragon of the ice barrier!"
He also has Brioniac dragon of the ice barrier and Trishula dragon of the ice barrier as his ultimate dragon...
When the tin for red dragon archfiend came out and I bought one, not only did I get lucky with the duelist genesis pack and pulled a ultra rare stardust dragon, but I ended up finding out that the tin didn't come with just one red dragon archfiend, I got lucky and it had two stuck together.
Still today Stardust is my favorite Signer Dragon, was one of the first cards I got from a friend when start playing competitive. I would never trade it or sell it
My 1st younger brother when we were kids actually owned Crow's Signer Dragon Black-Winged Dragon and I believe I owned either Stardust Dragon or Red Dragon Archfiend as a kid.

I loved the Synchro Dragons from this Era of Yu-gi-oh. My personal favourite, despite it's VERY specific uses, was Doomkaiser Dragon. A pseudo-dragon that fit the Plaguespreader Archetype well, and was an absolute joy to play in the TF games. He may only be a dragon in name, but he'll always be my number one.

Fun fact, if you have both Red Dragon Archfiend and Stardust Dragon and Stardust comeback during the end phase after he used his destroy negation effect, Red Dragon Archfiend triggers and destroy Stardust, that's when you have the choice to negate it, the choice to keep only one of them

The level of support that each signer dragon has seems releavent to each signer's centeral arcs (Yusei having the most, Jack a close second & Akiza a distant third with Crow, Leo and Luna getting ziltch)

I’d be Yusei! I got back into yugioh after watching 5d’s & I related so much to him! And to make it ever better, the first packs of cards I bought after deciding to come back to the game was a special edition box where I got Stardust Dragon as a promo card!! It was awesome!! And therefore if I had to pick a dragon, it’d be Stardust Dragon!!
I love Black Rose Dragon, and its newer Ruddy Rose Dragon form. It is a good upgrade as if you use BRD to syncro summon it, you get the effect of BRD but without destroying itself. And its very easy to get out on the field once you get BRD out.

Personally red dragon archfiend has always been my favourite. When I was a little kid I thought he was the coolest Yugioh monster in the show. Now I still like him even though his effects are trash in the modern day. He is just a bit nostalgic I guess. I have entire DECKS of him in duel links because of how many little strategies I think would make it better. I hope to someday have a copy of him in real life.

My thoughts With Crow they should had made him be a villain in s1 and made Crow become a hero after that season. Because of him Leo's character suffered and didn't grow as a character until he almost died thus they had to shoehorn him as a signed later on.

So as a swordsman we were called The Dragons, with myself having the title (among two others) Head, the leader. I find it funny cause stardust was always so cool to me how it could sacrifice itself to save the field and is used by the signer with the head mark.

Ik this video is like 3 yrs old now but I think I may have cleared up the 5 D's problem (since there's six) of the signer dragons. (life stream and black winged) My solution/theory is that during the battle with the earthbound immortals Life stream got sealed in armor because of how powerful they were (especially irl) so it got sealed within armor severely limiting life stream and in turn needing to be replaced, so this is where black wing dragon comes in the legendary duelist tries to find a good enough replacement and either creates black wing or finds them. This might also explain the sudden drawn heart on the crimson dragon meaning that the heart was originally an actual signer mark but was lost with lifestream dragon and replaced by the tail. (to keep the 5 D's in 5 D's) My Theory on why life stream suddenly disappears!:)
