Honestly it didn't look like anyone passed out. It looked to us that the driver was talking & looking at the lady in the pink shirt. They exchanged what looked like a bag or purse, the driver was still talking to her while stepping on the gas pedal. It definitely seems like an accident, but it also didn't look like the driver passed out. Who knows. I hope nobody blames anyone, until the investigation is complete. Of course due to everyone being on social media, sadly society does not care about facts anymore. I'm a FACTS & evidence kind of person, so even though I have an opinion about what we saw while we were there, I am still going to wait for FACTS!!! You know? Plus people perceive things differently, we just don't have all the facts yet. We are just grateful that everyone is okay ❤
None of this is surprising. Gig Harbor is a nightmare for drivers. No laws are enforced and there is zero police presence on any given day, unless there is an event. Total joke of a department. The Chief should be ashamed of what Gig Harbor has become. If you don’t drive 35 in a 25 you will be tailgated by the Californians who moved there. Sad to see such a beautiful city just rot like this.
Important lesson Dont stand in front of cars that jave an operator behind the wheel or at all if you can avoid it. People make mistakes, breaks fail and you're responsible for your own safety.
