Hi gentlemen, Cosmos has to be one of my favourite plants in the garden and as well as the tall variety, I also like the Sonata miniature ones which I put in pots. The white ones (Purity) really stand out in a border. I am always amazed at how expensive one plant costs in a garden centre when I can get so many from a packet of seeds. I suppose I have to remember that the garden centre has to put in the work of sowing the seed, plus nurture the seedlings etc. Great idea putting the seeds in coffee filters and I've never thought about planting the bits I've pinched out from the baby plants. I'll do that next year. Lars, you do a wonderful job on your videos speaking in English and don't come across as nervous. I have an anxious personality and find so much peace in my garden. I had to take early retirement as my job became too stressful so the good side of that is I can spend more time outside. Hope you both have a wonderful weekend.

And you're exactly right... if you have the time to grow flowers from seeds, you can save so much money! And the whole process is fun (for us... and you!). Dear Allen and Lars I'm so excited to sow my Cosmos varieties for this season. I had Cosmos 2 years ago and they were a fabulous success. They just blooms for months Non stop through the high heat of summer. I'm sowing beautiful selected varieties this season. I'm almost late !! Cosmos seashells mixed colors Last but not least Cosmos "Double Click" white shades. All from T&M from England. I am also sowing Sunflower : "Italian White" And sunflower 🌻 "Black Magic ⚫ " My QUESTION to anyone who reads this is Do You HAVE TO let it grow upright and it will branch naturally ❓or DO you PINCH the tip❓ I'd love to hear your opinions . They take a while to flower - so they may still come with flowers. If your soil is too nitrogen rich, or the area too shady, they may not - but you’ll get foliage. They prefer sunshine.

Which cosmo is that first one with the peach and purple?
It's a really pretty one! It's called Cosmos bipinnatus 'Apricotta'. Hope that helps :)
