I need sensors that work with my gauges, and need to get air out of the cooling system but overall it ran like a champ and it just wants to go, just touch the gas it squats and says let's go! Lol

That'll get your batteries recharged and want you to really get fired up to finish it. You might pull the thermostat and just put it in some water and heat it up on the stove and watch and see at what temperature it starts to open. I hope you are running a 160 degree. Sounds awesome on those back roads and I'm sure it was very tempting to want to put your foot into it.. haha Thanks for taking us along, this video is going to take off..

Yes it does Brian. I would say total time, 2 years. I had to stop a few times and do family business. Alot of that stuff is behind us now. Looking forward to continuing to improve the 55 while starting the build on the 70 nova. And getting our new 1983 c30 puller up to snuff.

I'll be putting my 427 in my 88 g body SS the first week of June that's what I'll be doing for one of my weeks vacation this year I was looking for something else to put my motor and Trans it but I'm itching so when I do find a tri 5 a nova or 66 or 67 chevelle it will be a good excuse to build a 496 like I been wa ting ti do I already go a good set of heads a solid roller cam a few intakes and a brand new carb in a box so I got a pretty good start. Super 5-5 ! This car brings back a lot of memories. Late 60's, 3rd motor in my 55 210 2 door sedan was a 500+hp Corvette 331cisb. Car painted 69 Caddy Sapphire Mist blue. Best time in the quarter with 4.88's, Pontiac Muncie 4 speed, 11.96 at 114+mph. Sold the 5-5 in '70, BIG mistake, been sorry ever since.

New Don Garlits tachs bring big money. 1500-2000 if it's new in box, that old beat up one I got was 500. Thanks about car compliments, built it right here at home from scratch. ✌️

I got it about 8 years back, stripped down to nothing, not even a steering wheel with literally chicken crap all over it. Lol was told it was pulled out of the woods in the mid 80s and put in barn I bought it out of. ✌️

I got it about 8 years back, stripped down to nothing, not even a steering wheel with literally chicken crap all over it. Lol was told it was pulled out of the woods in the mid 80s and put in barn I bought it out of. ✌️
