He always gives good advice. Please allow me to interrupt. I feel Buddhists should know this. I do research on how Buddhism disappeared in Bihar. I realized it never disappeared from Bihar. Buddhists simply failed to research Indian Buddhism. They looked at Buddhism through the sphere of their own cultures searching for only the Buddha. Buddha had a myriad of names in different villages according to his teachings there. Example. His favorite teaching was 'Lust and desire causes pain. Remove lust and desire, and pain is removed'. Translated into Bihari (where the Buddha story took place) it is DHUKH HARAN meaning to remove dukha. Three dozen villages pray to DUKH HARAN Baba. Its clear that DUKH HARAN Baba is none other than the Buddha. Problem is Buddhists are searching only for the Buddha. In the real Vaishali the Buddha begged for alms. The locals there pray to 'BHIKHAINI' Baba (Beggar Baba). Bhikhaini was mispronounced by Buddhists as Bhikshu. Who is BHIKHAINI Baba. The Buddha no doubt. But people are searching for a man called Buddha. In the real Vaishali, in Beluha the Buddha suffered a sickness and felt he had grown old. The locals pray to 'BURHA' Baba (Old Baba). Who is BURHA Baba. The Buddha no doubt. In the real Vaishali the Lichavies pressurized Buddha not to die. They trailed him to Bandagawan pressurizing him not to die. To put pressure in Hindi is DABESHWAR. Three dozen villages around the stupa where Buddha gave the Lichavies his patra, the villagers pray to Baba 'DABESHWAR NATH' meaning the man who won the pressurizing game. It was the the Buddha no doubt as he gave the Lichavies his patra and succeded in sending them back. But Buddhists are searching for the Buddha. Forgive me for commenting out of the topic. I just wanted to impart this information to you. Thanks.

Hi I know you may ght not remember but now I m meditating three times a day. In the afternoon and evening meditation YOU help me. You stand next to me and I concentrate on breathing and then you tell me to concentrate on the close candle and the far away candle. Then the close star and the far away star. Sometimes there is a message. It is complete. Not foggy.
Yesterday we were doing candle meditation. At the end I saw a woman set herself on fire. It was a quick flash picture. I asked who. All I could get was it was a Congress woman from the US.
I found some exercise I want to do I m trying to decide when. I might have to get up at 5:30 am.
I have more energy. I m sleeping better. Changing diet. Trying Curry vegetable today.
    Thanks

I'm going to become a drifter. I think it will be a most humble way to live and I will always be close to God. I always wanted to live this way but have been stuck in the nest (childhood home). Now I finally feel that I can safely leave my Mum behind and go out on my own. (I'm 43). My dream is to travel 3,000 km to the tropics to set up a camp.

Thank you for this sir. I have always practised meditation for an hour or so before I sleep. But I heard somewhere it was bad to meditate lying down in bed, even though I know Lord Buddha meditated lying down, this individual who had told me this repeated often in my mind in an image for some reason of authority. They had presented the idea it was bad to meditate in bed because you would become sleepy and lazy. I now realise this is hogwash, although I learned separately from your video, I began my practice again a few days ago. I have begun again doing everything as recommended in this video and humbly hope to return to peaceful mind even as storms rage in Samsaric oceans.

In Pidhauli (Vaishali) the local deity is Bardiha Baba. Bardiha means the Baba who didn't allow us to stay where he was staying. Bardiha Baba is the Buddha no doubt because he didn't allow the crowd of Lichavies to stay with him in Bandagama. Forgive me for commenting out of the topic. Yes, beautifully said. Please allow me to interrupt. In fact, some say that taking the recommended dose of B6 can increase the likelihood of lucid dreaming, a state where you're aware you're dreaming and can control what happens."

Sleep? On a daily basis I use earplugs, sleep mask, rain music and sleeping pill, but it's still hard to fall asleep. Sometimes I smoke a joint as well. I totally stress about sleeping and can't sleep because of it. Some nights I'm just so tired from the lack of sleep of other nights that I just crush and sleep maybe 7-8 hours non stop. It doesn't make feel better in any way.....😄 I need a new life, without humans to disturbed me and a house in nature far away from all homo sapiens. then I think I will be able to sleep properly...😂

wow, that's a lot of stimulus to get a sleep... as Mingyur Rinpoche stated, you may 'Let Go', don't look for sleep.
I myself have used sleep relaxation music from time to time, but it doesn't always help, it creates more stimulus sometimes (ended up watching some youtube).
if it helps, try to get up as early as possible (for me it's 6am, even if i just slept for merely 5hrs), and then get some sun while exercise a little. It will reset your waking period at night, then you go to sleep on 11pm at max. For me the key is to not sleep over 11pm.

If you truly learned meditation… you wouldn’t have “half a world view”
If you truly practiced meditation and the teachings of the Buddha. You wouldn’t see “men” and “Tibetans” and “menopause” as to why it’s difficult to sleep
Or learn how it’s possible to get better sleep.
If people actually meditated by the Buddhas teachings. They’d see that the only reason they have problems… is because they have caused these problems themselves.
By being compassionate and kind to all sentient beings, you will naturally find peace in all aspects of life.
Whether it’s sleep, menopause, perceiving the reality of “men” or “Tibetans with half a world view”
But if a person doesn’t undertake these teachings and realise these teachings… they will only have a view like yours.
With meditation it’s very possible to ease the symptoms of menopause and most illnesses.
But if practice is a half ditch effort… we will only get half of the results that are possible.
If we blame menopause, men, or Tibetans and see them as hostile we won’t be very close to finding inner peace and better sleep.
