    What Mr. Jaitely is saying any educated person can understand his vision but the problem is Farmer do not understand this economic language especially when congress mislead the farmers. Congress converted 50% of the farmer to labour by promoting MANREGA but did not empower them during their regime.
    Others political parties are also same like congress their understanding is whatever govt do just oppose them no matter what they do.

      You should also watch Arun Shourie's interview as well. Jaitley is a good lawyer and a Delhi insider. So he has his own motives and power intentions. So he is good but not a good finance minister. Chidambaram can talk much better than Jaitley but will that make him more honest? No. For Modi, Jaitley is a burden and he obstructs experts have a say with PM because he always wanted to be door guard to power.

    • @uditadhikari
      @uditadhikari Před 9 lety +2

      20dewdrops Are you talking about the Chidambaram that came up with the retrospective taxation and completly annihilated India's economy. Chidamabaram was the worst finance minister India had. Arun Shourie has just fired blank shots. He is probably mad he is not getting the post of finance minister. When the elections had ended in 2014 you should have seen Mr. Shourie going in all news channels and praising Modi government.

      Udit Adhikari If you are talking about the "Vodafone" amendment, it was introduced in 2012 by Pranab Mukherjee, who was indeed one of the worst FMs India had. Chidambaram had the chance to right the wrong when he got back the ministry subsequently but he didn't and neither has Jaitley so far. One good thing Jaitley has done is to abolish wealth tax. Waiting for serious simplification action on corp tax which he promised in this budget but has given himself a LOT of time to get it done.

    • @uditadhikari
      @uditadhikari Před 9 lety

      Madan Mohan Chidamaram lead the whole Vodaphone thing. He was so indecisive and could never decide as to how to proceed. Abolishing the wealth tax and reducing the corporate tax is the right thing to do. That is how you create jobs. Or else nobody can do business. The wealth tax actually caused so much corruption as you would have industrialist colluding with politicians with favor. With corporate tax you would have the same thing for exemption. And so in actuality you could very less money from those sources. You see India finally has people in governance who live in reality.

    Excellent and very clear thoughts of finance minister. Present govt is doing lots of positive things. In few matters govt may be either wrong or may have different view point then some media people or prominent personalities. People should raise their voice when appropriate and keep govt on toe but also have some patience for result as fruits of good policy takes years.

  • @nandinimuthusubramanian3903

    I didn't like how Arnab kept pulling Mr. Jaitley away from the specifics of the Land Bill. It is the specifics what people are looking for, its tiring to listen to just opinions and perceptions.. An expert opinion on the specifics of the land bill must be broadcasted by the mainstream media.

      I am fully convinved that NDA Govt will prove to be the most effective one in taking India to much higher level.
      We need someone to translate their high level plans and thoughts into a language which masses will understand.
      In the long term, the masses will surely get benefited... but till then we must educate the masses.
