AZ Pro Performance big brake kit on Jon’s OBS Silverado. 88-98 truck upgrades

- Happy New Year and welcome to 2023. We started the year off installing the AZ Pro Performance big brake kit on Jon’s 1991 Chevrolet Silverado CK1500. This kit is really nice and comes with everything you need to upgrade your OBS truck braking system. Here is a rundown of the kit from the website, also a link to the kit down below.
Front Kit Includes:
- C5 Caliper - New (Not Rebuilt)
- 13"-15" Rotor, Drilled / Slotted / Zinc Plated with Directional Vanes (1.1" Thick)
- OPTIONAL 13" rotor is 2-piece and will include BellTech spindle
- Machined Aluminum Hub w/ ABS Ring
- 5x5 Bolt
- Caliper Mounting Bracket
- All Necessary Hardware
- Brake Pads
- DOT Stainless Steel Hose kit
Rear Kit Includes:
- Mustang Caliper - New (Not Rebuilt)
- 13" 1-Pc. Rotor, Drilled / Slotted / Zinc Plated with Directional Vanes (1.1" Thick)
- Drilled Rotor
- 5x5 Bolt Pattern
- Caliper Mounting Bracket
- All Necessary Hardware
- Brake Pads

Beautiful sounding truck. What’s done to the engine and exhaust?
It’s a 5.3 ls with a cam, some head work, and idk what else. Not sure on the exhaust brand at the moment. I will get with Jon and get the details

Did yall ever figure out if it was the booster and did yall ever do a portioning valve/delete the rear abs?
What would yall charge to the swap/labor (I have the same exact truck painted destroyer gray), also what part of GA are yall in?
Also can you share the links for the bell tech sway bars?
Also what tire size is on the truck? and Yall mentioned "G80"? is that something are yall willing do as well? If parts and labor cost?

Jon did switch to a newer style proportioning valve. Brakes have been working great. Thanks for supporting the channel
How long real time could 1 guy do the rear conversion
Couple hours, it wasn’t bad at all. It does come with different size shims to make sure you get the caliper spacing correct. So you do have to do some mocking up a time or two before bolting it all down.

Not sure, it came from AZ pro performance.
Just did this kit on my OBS. The instructions for the rear are terrible. I have some noise come from the rear brakes. I have it shimmed like you guys did yours. Not happy with the kit.
Jon has put a bunch of miles on his, far as I know he hasn’t had an issue.
