Fairkraft Creations is a Bangalore-based craft design and marketing company that promotes artisan livelihoods. All products are made ethically by working directly with artisan communities. The Fairkraft Creation’s range of wooden toys and home decor products are made by Artisanpride Producer Company Ltd ( APPCL) - a worker-owned collective of lac-ware artisans from Channapatna in Karnataka, India using a 200-year-old traditional handicraft technique. The toys are made using Wrightia Tinctoria wood and finished with natural lac resin and colored with safe and time-tested natural dyes. APPCL is a member of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO).
