Wooden toys from FairKraft Creations are made by artisans in Channapatna, near Bangalore, India using a two-hundred-year-old handicraft technique. They are made using Wrightia Tinctoria wood and finished with Lac, which is colored with 100% non-toxic natural dyes. Previously known as Maya Organic, the company has now been relaunched into FairKraft Creations and ArtisanPride, with a renewed focus on creating sustainable livelihoods for artisan communities. ArtisanPride (a World Fair Trade member) is the exclusive manufacturer of handicrafts for FairKraft.
