3:41 First it’s potato cakes (on your other video) and now it’s Schnitz! Melbourne has some magnificent chicken parma and it is particularly delicious when eaten as a counter lunch or pub meal. What did you get at Schnitz? Edit: Oh, a Garden of Eden burger, looks amazing, and what better place to enjoy than Flagstaff Gardens (have you checked out Fitzroy Gardens? Not far from there, but also lovely). Keep up the great videos!

@@elliemajelly Sure, here are some interesting non-touristy places in Sydney that you might want to consider visiting:
Cockatoo Island: This UNESCO World Heritage site is located in the middle of Sydney Harbour and was once a convict prison, shipyard and industrial school. Nowadays, visitors can explore the island's history and enjoy its picturesque views.
Wendy's Secret Garden: Tucked away in Lavender Bay, this beautiful garden was created by Wendy Whiteley as a tribute to her late husband, artist Brett Whiteley. The garden is filled with native plants, winding paths and stunning views of the harbour.
The Strand Arcade: This stunning Victorian-era shopping arcade is home to a number of boutique shops selling everything from high-end fashion to gourmet chocolates. It's a great place to escape the crowds and pick up some unique souvenirs.
The Rocks Ghost Tours: For those who enjoy a spooky adventure, The Rocks Ghost Tours offer a guided tour of Sydney's oldest neighbourhood, complete with ghost stories and historical anecdotes.
The Grounds of Alexandria: This trendy eatery and garden oasis in Alexandria is a favourite among locals. It features a sustainable garden, farm animals, artisanal coffee, and seasonal menus that make it a must-visit spot.
The Paddington Reservoir Gardens: This unique space is located beneath a Victorian-era reservoir and features a sunken garden, boardwalks and a reflective pool. It's a great spot for a picnic or a peaceful stroll.
Barangaroo Reserve: This newly developed parkland on the harbour foreshore offers stunning views of the city skyline and the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge. The reserve is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, and visitors can enjoy walking trails, picnic spots, and cultural events.
Bare Island Fort: This historic fort is located in La Perouse, a coastal suburb in Sydney's south. Built in the 19th century to defend Sydney's coastline, the fort is now open to visitors who can explore the underground tunnels, gun emplacements, and panoramic views of the ocean.

You're doing a good job at getting a feel for the city, but mostly the CBD and maybe beachside it seems.
Give some other suburbs a crack! I reckon you'd love the vibe in places like Fitzroy, Collingwood, Brunswick, and Footscray.
Good multicultural food, good bars, pubs, and people.

@@elliemajelly yep, which is fine! it's new.
Go into the city, then take a tram from Collins St up to Brunswick St, Fitzroy.
Have a wander round, have a feed, some great bars along there too. Then can pop over to Smith St, Collingwood by foot.

Some people, and I am one of them, still use fountain pens because of the amount of writing we do; seems to make one's writing legible; and it is good for the environment. Cheers from the deep state of Queensland.
