This what our so called Neighborhood Walmart has turned in to this. They recently remodeled the bulk of all checkout is self check out. They seem to be more focus on home delivery you can hardly get up and down Isles for large Walmart cards with employees put these orders together. There a lot empty shelves and produce is terrible. Most of shopping carts are still in parking lot.
I've worked for both companies, and was not surprised Target was superior. However, the Walmart was at, in Eden Prairie, MN (suburb of Minneapolis) is in an area with some rich people, and it doesn't sell guns.
I only go to Walmart because it's closer to me and I don't have a car. It's not my first choice in stores. My daughter worked in food service. She used to order food service machines for the kitchen. She never ordered anything from Walmart even though the price were cheaper. All electric items (mixers, coffee machines etc........ have serial codes. Manufacturer Items that were faulty were branded with a specific serial code. They were sold to Walmart!
Some Walmart bathrooms are clean, but not all of them. On the other hand, Target bathrooms, IKEA bathrooms, and Costco bathrooms are very clean! They do stand way out!
The Target or Walmart that is closest towards my home are both pretty nice. Walmart is always busy. Target is a little less busy. Walmart has a Subway in the store. Target has a Starbucks. I’m glad to have them both in a way. One store that was a mile away from my apartment was Shopko that I do missed.
