I live in Florida and I grew up in Pinellas County where the sibling shooting occurred. Pinellas County is having a huge issue with teenagers going around and stealing guns out of responsible gun owners vehicles at night. Now in my opinion you aren't a responsible gun owner if you are leaving your gun in your vehicle and then leaving your vehicle unlocked.
This is a huge issue here in Florida right now! So the Pinellas County sheriff's Department went and held a press conference begging the community in largo, Florida and the rest of the state to please lock your car doors at night or bring in your guns! This is how young kids are able to get guns now.

@@2masterofpuppets2 🤣 yeah I know right! But largo is pretty damn bad! Largo is not a safe place to live. I lived in Pasco County begrudgingly for about 11 years. I live in Citrus now. It's so beautiful in Citrus County and The crime is very miniscule in comparison to hernando or Pasco County.
Where I lived in Pasco it was a nice area when I moved there. My husband and I lived on a nice plot of land and my father-in-law lived in a beautiful home he built right next door to us. Once my son started elementary school our neighborhood just started getting worse and worse. I would find used hypodermic needles in my yard from people just throwing them out the car windows. Then right before we moved Some dude was running from the cops because he committed a murder and decided to ditch his car in my father-in-law's driveway ,Lit it on fire then took off! That was it for us and we started looking for new homes .
Thank God it was during the time when Trump took office and lowered the interest rates for getting loans to purchase homes. So we were able to move and get the hell out of Pasco County! My father-in-law and his wife and my nephew followed suit and they bought a house up here in Citrus County also. The drug problem in Pasco County at that time in 2017 was really bad. I can only imagine what it's like now!

A few years ago, I was riding my bike in my small middle class neighborhood, coming home from CVS. It was very close by to where I lived. So, out of nowhere, 4 teenagers walked out in front of me, blocking my neighborhood road that led to my home. I slowed down, they parted and now there was 2 on each side of me. Wonderful, I thought, you guys moved out of the middle of the road. I mean, obviously I wasn't going to keep going and crash into them! So here I go, peddling through them; out of the blue, 2 of them got on each side of me, pushing me down, then one of them punched me in the face FOR NO REASON! I wasn't even fighting back for God's sake! ...Now on the ground, screaming, a man in a pickup truck pulls up - they run off. 911 was called...1 month later, they were ALL CAUGHT... the oldest one was 16, he was from the hood, put out here to "get in a better school"...HA! He simply brought his gang out here! So they were caught but nothing really happened to them. This was a few years ago. Im guessing they are in prison by now. Me? Like you Tim, I am terrified of teenagers to this day...

serious note: you sure the kid just isn't undiagnosed autistic? Buddy of mine, long time family friend is on the spectrum and what you described was essentially his life to-a-T up until he hit 23. Once he got into his early 20's he opened up more, met girls, started partying and socializing more despite some of his limitations. People love him, but it is still not uncommon for him to choose to play a game for 8hrs straight- its just not ALL he does anymore. He got his license once he realized he wanted to start dating girls. Your sisters kid may not being raised to be like that. I don't know him but he sounds seriously autistic. "Dead eyes" too...autistic kids aren't wired for typical social interaction. If he doesn't empathize easily, he could be autistic.

I always say they are being raised by iPads and cell phones and that’s the problem. My 12 year old is bullied by these kids in her class, Grace and Eriq. They are both privileged children from Westchester County, NY. They go to a private catholic school and they act like they just left Rikers Island. They talk about perverse sexual things and rap in class about deep throating and murder. At the honors assembly, they kept staring at me and not breaking eye contact in an attempt to intimidate me! United States Patent for “Nervous System Manipulation by Electromagnetic Fields from Monitors” (US6,506,148B2) outlines methods and tools capable of influencing a subject's nervous system by modulating electromagnetic fields emitted from a monitor displaying images. This involves pulsing image intensities within specific frequency ranges (0.1 Hz to 15 Hz) to potentially affect the subject's cutaneous nerves and their firing patterns. The claimed effects suggest manipulation of the nervous system through modulated electromagnetic fields. Potential effects on the human body and mind could range from altered neural activity to influences on emotions, perceptions, or cognitive processes.

I’m 21 and have worked since I was 14 and I know plenty of other kids that have done the same. In my opinion it isn’t that young people don’t want to work, it is that less and less places will hire young people with no experience or qualifications. I would have gladly worked in a factory as a teen but so many industries have such high entry level requirements. So thank you for still giving young people a chance!

As someone who turned 18 in 2016, a non-negligible minority of the peers I've known in my life have gone on to be addicts, or sociopaths that use hookup culture and multilevel marketing scams to satiate their wants. Despite having every need and want met, many are both deeply nihilistic and deeply narcissistic, as well as being overmedicated. But despite this there are kind, compassionate, intelligent and hardworking peers that are worth others time and shouldn't be overlooked for the highly visible and vocal sociopathic minority.
