Did not realize people didnt enjoy the model A. I really really enjoyed it. Thanks for your hard work.
I for 1 would love to see more of the model A...
I bet not 1 of the folks griping have one, or a CZcams channel… they can suck it.
Agreed
Ditto × 77
Right!!!! I’m really confused by that who were these people I don’t recall seeing anyone says anything bad about the model A
Hey Puddin ,
I you need to stop worrying about what all the haters think ! Build what YOU want to build ! Your real fans will still be there for you ! I myself would love to see you finish the someday m. A ! Remember this is your dream , we are just the lucky ones that get to watch you live it ! So rock on with your model A ! I want to see you finish it 😊😊😊!
While I agree with your sentiment, views dictate builds to an extent, because views dictate income. Views go down so does income. Take the variable of views out of the equation and he could pull weeds from his yard. Its unfortunate he has slightly abandoned the model A, as I was a fan of it, but I understand that if he only gets half the views, he only gets half the income. Puddin is smart enough to know he built his business around "X" amount of views per video, and needs to maintain "X" amount to continue. Its kinda like a trained dog, the dog knows if I do this, I get a treat, if I do not do this, no treat. Not to say Puddin is a dog or he does makes the vids he makes as a treat. Its to say, he knows what he needs in order to continue.
Theres more to it than the haters though. He sees the analytics and knows what videos do well and which ones dont. The model A must not have gotten the views and made the money to make a build like that worth doing again so soon. I loved the build but i guess it just wasnt good for his channel compared to the cheaper junkyard builds he does.
Yea but apparently everyone wants to see the Fireturd get remade
Me to…it’s really gonna be a sweet rig.
Do what you have to I'll be here watching everything Puddin's fab shop.. 😊
Damn the people who got mad at the ModelA build, that thing is nice. You work hard bro and you deserve to build something nice for yourself. its your channel your Time Your Money BUILD WHAT YOU want.
The Model A build were some of the best episodes you have ever done !!! Please dont let the hater's ruin your productions for your true and loyal fans, love the shop updates!!
You build things the way you want to and don't let the comments control your videos. You only hear from the complainers and that is a very small part of your audience. Thank you for all the work you put in to make great viewing.
i agree . Like John Lydgate is quoted " You can can please some of the people all of the time etc etc "
Agreed 💯
Since this is how Puddin makes his money, if people don't watch, he doesn't make $. It's a balancing act.
We enjoy and watch everything Puddin does, but apparently, there are a lot of people who aren't like us.
exactly!
Exactly right!!
Build what you want. I’m here for it all. Throwing money at stuff sometimes is longevity.
Keep the Model Alive....it's a sweetheart...Congratulations on the dream shop...you made it happen through your hard work.
You just be you Puddin. You can’t please everyone all the time. Just do Puddin’s Fab Shop stuff. That’s what we like.
I agree man. We all love watching no matter what videos you put out as long as it’s you having fun and doing what you need to for your family and future. And let’s not forget you don’t ask me to do the work lol Jk man great stuff !!!
UNBELIEVABLE HOW MUCH WORK YOU ACCOMPLISHED ON YOUR OWN!!!!!!
Mr. P, The only thank you I want is for you to finish that sweet model A! Those people complaining about you building something a little nice for yourself ain't ever gonna be happy anyhow. I can't speak for anyone else but in my home you're family and we are fully enjoying the little slice of paradise your building. Lot's of love from mine to yours buddy!
I don't understand why some people can't keep their negative comments to themselves. It's probably jealousy because they can't do what you do. I enjoy watching you build whatever you want to. Keep it up!!!
Take the compressor off the pallet and get some anti vibration pads and bolt it to the concrete.
czcams.com/video/_5_7TU7AwpE/video.htmlfeature=shared
I used body bushings off a old Dodge Ram. works great.
The distance of the wire requires the Voltage Drop be calculated. Over distance the resistance the voltage can drop, and heavier wire has less voltage drop. We run highway lighting with HUGE conductors that only pull around an amp. Its the voltage drop that dictates much of it.
to elaborate a bit more, if you have voltage drop say 120 to 115v, the amperage required goes up. Ohms Law
Exactly what I was going to say. Explained it well.
I came to see if somebody answered this before I repeated the answer. Good answer
Safety.
parasitic loss
In rush. The amps will jump up on startup. Your electrical guys should know that.
yup , startup spikes are often 6 or 7 times the nominal current of the motor. that's why :)
also the distance of the run increases resistance buy a constant value.
@@jizumnuriIE, voltage drop
i came here to say both of these.
Spikes and Shock load .. but yeah anyone messing with electronics or electrical should deff know this and be able to advise the owner of such ... but the general public don't know this , the people that actually do it for a job in general should know this tho ... but it's always good imo to share knowledge, personal I love to learn so if I can be tought or help someone learn than that is a win ..... peace and love all keep it rad stay safe and build on .. l8z
Can always judge a man's success by the size of his shed and length,s of steel offcuts in his rack's😅 puddin and family is super blessed from all his dedication and work ethic 🙏💪💕🍀🐾
This boy started hour plus videos a year ago, now damn near 2hours of shop time. Can you imagine the editing time much less camera work this humble man grinds out. God Bless you brother, best damn car /fab /fun on the tubytube. Rub Theos belly for me!
Its called surge or inrush current. Inrush current, input surge current, or switch-on surge is the maximal instantaneous input current drawn by an electrical device when first turned on. Alternating-current electric motors and transformers may draw several times their normal full-load current when first energized, for a few cycles of the input waveform
That’s what I was going to say 👍🏻. The surge current when it starts and voltage drop for however far the compressor is away from the main power source.
Line drop is why you need larger wire going to the unit. The farther you are away from your breaker box the bigger wire you need.
The load pretty much doubles when the motor first starts and is getting up to running speed, it's only a couple seconds but it takes a lot of juice to get it going
I enjoyed the Model A project. I like seeing sheetmetal fab. Like to see it running around so finishing it up is my vote.
Puddin time. Best part of Monday
Puddin makes my Monday every week
According to the Manual you are going to run a 50 amp, 220 breaker at your load center. Number 6 copper is good for about 55 amps normally but if you are running a longer distance it is good to upsize the wire because you might have a slight voltage drop for a long run. You should have the electrician check what the voltage is at the load center because as he knows that is probably more important that anything else. If there is a voltage drop at the compressor it will take more amps to run it, power = amps x volts. The literature states that 64 amps is required for starting but that is only until the motor gets up to 1750 rpm, then the current probably drops down to about 32 amps. Another thing to take into consideration is that if you had a airline break and you were not in your shop the compressor would run until you discovered the problem. Probably a good idea to shut off the breaker at the end of your work day to keep that from happening. Thanks for taking us along on your journey. Looks like you are getting all the loose ends tied up. Be careful when you lift all that heavy stuff around your yard. You don't want to have back problems. Good Luck.
Spot On.
That is what I have been thinking. The draw at start-up on a compressor that big has to be huge. And that will occur throughout the day.
I can't wait for the "Theo" merch and stickers!!! Bring it on lol!!!
MY FAVORITE PERSON IN THE WORLD RIGHT HERE lol 100% agree with the last guy. Puddin makes mondays great again lol an thursdays
The model a was great I enjoyed it wheel hop will be cool too. I enjoy all of it,including the shop stuff. You make it fun to watch
Build what you want
Check out an auto drain for the compressor. It does a 5 second water purge when the compressor shuts off. Goes on the bottom of the tank.
Really wanted to see the loadstar build...it was the one I was most excited for.
Puddin you need to just let people say what they want the people who like what you do will always still watch your videos I’ve been watching over 3 years now and I watch every video you post and I will keep watching until I’m 10 toes up in the ground keep it up watching you helps me relax I’ve had 2 bad accidents and now I can only work on my projects until I run out of air in my lungs then I have to take a break until I can breathe again Keep up the good work
cool to see the old crane back up!! some of the old shop lives on!
I really like the model A build. Variety is the spice of life and all that. Negative people breed negativity.
I’m here for the Model A. That’s a great build I enjoyed every minute of it. Can’t wait to see it finished. You deserve a well built hot rod. Don’t give those haters a second of recognition
Hey tell them folks that complain about spending money on projects to get over it build what you want and how you want keep up the great content
Puddin' makin' his own little piece of Heaven!
Build what you want man! Pay no attention to a few that gripe no matter what! I for one would love to see the load stars built! Shop's looking great 👍
Hey Puddin, I have been watching for almost 3 years I used to be just like you, working hard was the only way. After 50 years of doing that (75 Now) I wish I had purchased equipment when I was younger to do the heavy lifting necessary to save my lower back. Don't wait to get that skid steer or a forklift any longer, you will be glad you did in 40 years. Love your content and watch everything you publish on both channels. You are the best!
Screw the haters . I really enjoyed the model a build . Been looking forward to the big trucks to . I enjoy it all . Its super unfortunate there is some losers ruining it for the rest of us die hard fans . Don't let it discourage ya man . Your core will stay true . Thanks man
Build what you want and I'll be here for it, haters will never be happy.
Gotta say that shop is really taking shape to be awesome. As far as the Model A I personally really enjoyed watching it come together and was kinda disappointed when you shoved it into storage. I hope you get back to it again soon. Whatever you do, us true fans will be here to support and watch your efforts and antics.
I am so happy for you. You're such a nice guy and you're doing so well with your channel. You have this nice shop and home. Finish first 🥇
startup pulls a lot more power.
I for one am really glad to see your crane get put in place, I'm glad for you I thought yaaa I'm glad Hooray.
I personally think that model A is awesome and coming along nicely. I like that you switched gears with the build and are building what YOU want. Its your channel that's what you should do!
Who dares what people are complaining about. I loved the Model A build. I watch you every week because you are realizing your dream. To be honest the only thing that has ever bothered me is the long grass in your field. ( But that's just me.) I don't care what you're working on, just keep putting the content out.
I've been waiting years for the Loadstar build. Forget the guys that cry in the comments. Build that truck!!!
Puddin time... put a piece of rubber under the compressor pallet (mudflap or conveyor belt) to keep it in place
czcams.com/video/_5_7TU7AwpE/video.htmlfeature=shared
Give yourself a big pat on the back, Puddin.
That was a heck of a good job.
I'm really happy for you.
It doesn't matter what your videos are about. You make them interesting. Build what you want to build how you want it. I'm sure most of your audience will still watch.
When the compressor kicks on it can surge and draw way more power than specified, probably not 95 amps or even 70, but I'm sure it could peak up to 50 amps or so.
I've actually been looking forward to seeing content on wheel hop Wlima. Please don't give in to the negative comments
The reason I visit Puddins Fab Shop is because I enjoy watching what your put together whether it’s a truck or a car or even a tire rack! The old ford car build was one of the highlights for me! So Jacob, keep on doing what your doing after all, it’s your dream and we are all along for the ride! Thank you for what you give! From Canada, Trevor.
PUDDIN This was a great video. The shop gets better and better. Love the work and never will you hear me complaining about you doing a nice project. Rock on brother.
Sup dude! So proud of you, your family and your awesome friends.
Wishing you the very best in all you do!
Puddin, life wouldn’t be the same without you in it.
I really appreciate you taking the time to level out your rack, most people would've just called it good enough.
We are the ones who should thank you! The quality content at the end of a day keeps allot of us going!
yay Puddin time!
When an initially starts up it creates a massive surge capacity this is why it needs the larger amp gauge wire is that startup it will pop the breaker
Puddin Don't let those viewers get you down. I see it as if you wanna throw money at it go ahead. you earned that right. that money was earned with dedication, hard work, blood, sweat, tears, long nights of editing. I've loved seeing you grow over the years. keep up the great work. you deserve all you have!
I love the fact that you and Bill and Hot Rod always have time for Theo. He needs the love.
Happy Father's Day, sir Puddin'!
Can't wait to see you drive that model a.cool ride!
Thank you for all of your hard work. I can definitely appreciate everything you do. And thank you also for the entertainment and laughter!!❤
Pudding there is one thing for sure you aren’t afraid of hard work Great shop.
Hour and 47 minute puddin shop video I'm there
Yall Stay hydrated it hit 102 in my shop today! Now let me sit on my a$$ in this AC and watch...
Been a 3rd shifter for 20+ years. The key is to sleep in a 60-65 degree air-conditioned bedroom during the heat of the day and head out the garage at around midnight... 😂
Please, dont let anyone discourage you from completing that Model A. I thoroughly enjoyed watching you tinker on that car to get it where it is now and I really would like to watch it get completed. Whoever is telling you that you're wrong for "throwing money at it" is just jealous of the fact that you are working hard for something that you want done right. People who actually care will watch whether or not you "throw money at it."
Jacob, if you get rid of the Large Box truck. You ever thought about finding a 1950 - 1970 antique tow truck from a salvage yard , do a get it running video. Could use it to tow your stuff, lift something out in your salvage vehicles yard, push or back in vehicles in your shop you are about to work on. Can you see your self about to pull a vehicle in the shop and it has 2 front flat tires. Back the old tow truck to vehicle lift it without needing a jack and change them tires. Daughter,Wife's car breaks down in town, could hook up truck and trailer or just go get it with the OLD tow truck. Changing out the Tow Truck winch with a new Harbor Freight winch would bring the old gal into the future without little effort. It will help all your projects in one way or another. Toyrolla you have earned your rest. Rescue a truck stuck in the mud in the field, tree has fallen, go get her with Hilda Mae will make your life easier.
Yes Sir!!!
Stop everything Puddin’s ON
i see the wasp are already checking out the area to make nests, id be capping those air outlets. cheers Pud
Thank you for sharing your daughters passion's. And just being a great dad 1
Basically it's because of the distance the wire has to run you'll lose amperage the longer the wire
Pudin with boots on no sketchers
All the projects you work on are awesome. Most people just have to be horses butt's about things. Keep doing what makes you happy, even if people don't like a project. True followers will always be here for you. God bless you and your family. Love from East Texas brother.
i used to do what you guys do in my 70s now had to slow down ,puttin my 1971 FX back together after being apart after 20 years ,my kids are amaised at how i can remember where everything goes, hope i have enough air to kick start old bike once again ,WILL LOVE THE SOUND WHEN I ONCE AGAIN KICK IT TO LIFE
the longer the run the more resistance. How is Theo's health coming along. Its good to have a shop dog.
Your the Best thing about Mondays!!!!!👍
Build whatever you want dude, everything you do is awesome! Big money, low buck, it's all got style.
Puddin your channel is awesome. It checks all the boxes for me. You are family oriented, a good friend, entertaining, humble, honest, real, and so on… You aren’t like the others that let the fame get to their head. I would like to see more of the model A project. Maybe you could sneak it in here and there on the upcoming main builds?
Just ordered more stickers from you love the content
Hellllll yeah
The Model A was a nice change of pace, and if it's still your dream -- just do it! Congrats on getting the air compr plumbed up and running. Cleaning up and organizing the yard and the storage overhang was definitely time well spent too. You've accomplished so much in the last 12 months, it's amazing!
Finally, the air compressor is installed. Now I can watch Puddin' again.
Just playing Puddin! I really appreciate your work!
My mans making Mondays great again
Puddin time 🎉🎉🎉
People who complain about you throwing money at something, are ones who are envious of what you have because of what you've done. Keep up the hard work and great content Puddin.
Engine rollers, and a rear end rack. Like your scrap stand but a rear end stand, a transmission locker. That's what you build all that scrap metal.
Puddin Monday!
Dude you need a forklift!
Made my back hurt just watching him drag stuff around while there's a skidsteer parked right behind him for most of the video...
Edit: only took half the video but he finally hopped in the skidsteer 😂
Puddin', YOUR builds, YOUR way, YOUR business. The Model A?? Your vision, your car, you know my thoughts by now. I enjoy your builds, you channel...No, I don't live near you but you don't mind. I feel like I'm visiting you and your fine family every time I watch your videos!!
Keep building as your visions guide you. Be true to yourself!!
Glad to know that the whole action has come together for you and your family. Good on you PUDDIN....
I'm surprised that people didn't like the Model A build. It made more sense to start with a good foundation rather than patching up an old car. Well done. Work in the shop never ends, I have been setting up my shop for the last 3 years. Always something to change. Looking good. :) ;)
I loved the model A build. Your excitement during builds is why I keep coming back. Keep up the good work!
I just finished watching this episode and it was one of your best, you beat yourself all day for several days alone, BRAVO, but I feel for your tired muscles, but you persevered and got through it, l'm 75 as of tomorrow and don't do much at all annymore, but I've built several nice rides in the past and love to work on cars, from bodk working to mechanical and miss it terribly, that's why I watch you channel and enjoy it. This episode has brought back so many great memories, thank you and keep up the great work. Dan in Kentucky.
The long time subscribers like me know you’ve been buying parts as you can through the years. Can’t wait to wheel hop Wilma
Sketchy…. With a Capital Sketch. That crane was something else!
So proud of your dreams coming true! You are a true example of what hard work and determination is! And, you make us fans want to get out and achieve more!! I know you’ve definitely sparked my inner-builder! Even though I’ll probably never be on your level !😂😂😂😂 so happy for ya!
Keep your head up and continue the great work. GOD favors the prepared.
I enjoy all your videos, they are all fun to watch To hell with the haters.
