- Players of TP Mazembe from the Democratic Republic of Congo violently aggressed an Ethiopian referee to the CECAFA Kagame Cup 2010 match against APR FC in Rwanda.
A bunch of them came running after the referee just wanting to hit him with no mercy. The referee fell down and some of them [TP Mazembe players] wanted to ponder his head.
This is shameful. The match ended at the 40th minute with APR FC (Rwanda) 1-0 TP Mazembe. - Sport
What a bad action for him! He was the best player of Mazembe and one of the best Under25 players in Africa. Now, firstly, he will not play Fifa club world cup with his team and secondly probably he lost his possibility to play in Europe after this stupid behaviour.
That's where Mputu's promise as "the next big thing" in African soccer died. Sad for such a gifted player. I remember he also kicked an Angolan player in the nuts during one AFCON. Poor image management. Sad
is not Mbutu who kick the referee but the player with number 30.. see it at min. 2.02

That guy was offside. The rule says that you must have two player between you and the goal, in this case the goalkeeper was out and there was only one defender there for it's an offside. The same situation happened in the last world cup. Mazembe players need to learn Fifa rules on offside. a goalkeeper is a player also. if he was on his post it wouldn't been a offside. But since he left his post leaving only one player between Mazembe player and the goal, it's offside.

Mputu is the best player in Africa right now. this game was fixed to see Rwandan side win the competition. They should never took part in this shameful competition. That ref got what he asked for. He is lucky the game wasn't in Kinshasa.
You know TP Mazembe is from Lubumbashi in the Katanga Province.

Un joueur se trouve en position de hors-jeu quand lui ou toute partie de son corps est plus près de la ligne de but adverse qu’à la fois le ballon et l’avant-dernier adversaire. En effet, le dernier défenseur est la plupart du temps le gardien de but.
Avant dernier donc 2 joueurs ;)

Sorry but you need 2 players to cancel the offside. Often we have the keeper and a player, here we have only 1 player. So Offside !! But reaction of Mputu is completely stupid !!
