If ANYONE deserves an Oscar, It has to be the delightful Gregg Turkington for his very believable role as a baskin robbins cake maker who came out of retirement just for Paul Rudd. A role of a lifetime and he nailed it!

I'm glad they included Mark's iconic Mae West impersonation into the trailer. One of my all time favorite On Cinema moments, and such a stellar performance. Mark is so talented at his craft... Makes me really hope that he's around for this year's Oscer Special!! 🥲

This is going to be a great show for movie buffs and oscar heads because gregg and tim are now on good terms and watch a lot of popcorn classics together. So this is kind of an unofficial sequel to the OUR cinema oscar special wich was obviously the greatest coverage of the oscars the On Cinema Crew has ever produced.
I am also looking forward to Mark Porsche performing his great impressions. This is gonna a be a guaranteed 5 bagger, with maybe like a litte cake with 10 candles on it.
Hope this year's oscar is just as good as the many before, and I wonder who will walk away with oscar gold?
Even more interesting - who’s gonna LOSE? They will make great additions to future additions of Greegg’s Oscar Runner-Ups list.
He's not nominated but I reckon the Academy could surprise us and award The Rock with best actor for Black Adam

I think they'll surprise us all with a dark horse upset and award Martin Freeman Best Supporting Actor for Wakanda Forever, as a way to make it up for snubbing Hobbit.

I really want to join but can't really afford it... how often is there new content? I want to support these guys so much so I hate being poor
@@JJ_SDWR they do the seasonal episodes which ended around the new year, the Oscar special whenever Oscar is and then do some random projects here and there. I don't know that they have an exact schedule for the extra content. Last year it was a Valentine's day special and this year it was deck of cards in the summer which was a full movie (Tim cut running time, long story).
If you're already a fan of the show then I'd recommend it, but I totally get concerns over pricing

I been watching the entire saga from season 1. Incredible. 5 bags of popcorn and maybe a little Tim face plus two sodas.
What really brings this down for me and makes me unable to get that excited about it is that I found a lot of your segments in other places. So when Tim says that they have segments we won't find anywhere else. It just kind of breaks my heart because it reminds me of back when he said it and I believed him.
No just kidding. I was just trying to think of some dumb long ass thing I could say cuz I could stand here and say that into my phone and have it turned to words and not have to do the dishes. But now I have to do the dishes.
This will be my first one so I'm excited about it. First one as it happens.

this is going to make my year! I've enjoyed very Oscar Special and OCATC since i found out about it years ago and the replay value is pure Oscar Gold! The whole lore & how its all one big masterpiece is really something to be admired. Tim & his special guest, Gregg Turkington does it best. I will be more than happy to purchase a ticket.

I bought a $10 dollar ticket for this, despite already being a high point HEI Network member. OCATC is the spiritual successor to Christopher Guest mockumentaries, and I love it.
