Oh I understand. This is the reason 10 minutes ago my toplaner picked janna top, took smite at the last second, went 0/5 after 6 minutes and quit the game.

@Jonas Jainczyk tbf though, all the way up to diamond this would be a hard strat to pull off because of the temates. I see it as a killer duo strat though. Id go into it with a duo JGer or mid, just so you have at least one teamate who will assist your invades and roams. If Janna and the jger are carrying the team will get on board (except maybe in silver or lower).
@@Brandon-cv9uh I had a perma roaming Naut support once. Different champ but similar principle. He and our jgler lived in their jgl and destroyed the whole map with duo roaming. Luckily their bot was ass and didn't punish me for being 1v2 all game long but I can see how those strats can work with good players.
In gold this works on pyke. At least it did in my ranked games.

Basically season3 and 8
Active: Jax enters Evasion, a defensive stance, for up to 2 seconds, causing all basic attacks against him to miss. Jax also takes 25% reduced damage from all champion area of effect abilities. After 1 second, Jax can reactivate to end it immediately.

I actually played with this guy 4 days back :D He stole enemy blue buff at the start and the enemy jungler was malding hard, invaded my jungle and died. We managed to win
what do u think what is minimal elo this will even work in? i'd guess like dia 4?? in lower than that id guess there's a high chance of team insta griefing and not teaming up for the early plays

Top lane strategies all entail never farming or even staying in top lane.

There is a style like that in german league, called blitzleague by jungler Autophil and support KutcherLol. Most of the times its Lee and Bard, for their extreme mobility and some cc, like described here.

Sounds like the perfect toplane strategy. Never stay toplane, just roam and make the game a fiesta since the anything above baron pit is useless
when the riot team said they were going to increase toplane agency all the way back from season 11 i thought they would make those alcoves have a portal in them that would lead to the other side of the map (in the same way the hextech portals do with hextech dragon) so toplanters could actually impact other lanes and vice-versa, reducing the "toplane island" feel.
BUT NOPE. TOPLANE IS STILL AN ISLAND. Better to just pick a Sup and roam around funneling gold to the rest of your team since its a TEAM based game.

had him several times in soloq ... what he does in chat in this : he always wants to lvl 1 lateinvade enemy botside jgl but then actually stays a bit on toplane but comes to botlane 30 sec before every drake so your team gets 5o4 drake ONSPAWN everytime

@@BeHappyTo Yeah coming from DOTA, it feels so much value is place on the "power" of your champion, and no other concepts in the game take precedence over that, when it's almost the polar opposite in DOTA. Also plays into the FF 15 mentality that is really tiresome in league coming from other MOBAs.
So basically this build strongly depends by your teams understanding and cooperation... Good luck to anyone who tries this below diamond!
He did it in a new account and still got 70% winrate. The guy is just good, you have to be good.
Cooperation is a 2 way road, not only does your team have to collapse and join into your plays you'll also have to understand what's possible for your team, if you have someone very passive you'll know not try to force them into stuff they can't do, though low enough games usually tend to be more aggressive.
Well.. if your teams arent cooperative that means the opposite teams arent cooperative either... you know, elo.

I would say this is the hardest to play in Platinum and low Diamond. The players there are all mega ego to the point that they give up in champ select / lvl 3 when anything even slightly inconvenient happens to them. Below Plat and above like D2, players either don't care or are on board with crazy shit. The sweatiest elo is the one around D4 because Diamond is seen as this prestigious achievement - no longer part of "low elo trash".

You roam towards your allies so probably yes. It is not viable now anyway tho, this guy is just insane
@@apmaz6112 Yes it's actually not viable. First of all it's risky and even though he is good with his tornadoes and stuff good players still can fight back. There are also some top laners that you should just not be leaving alone like nasus or other hard scaling champion like Vladimier and you can always die to tower to get rid of the bounty. The enemy jungler can also get back in the game by taking top tower which is left alone and even counter-jungling while they are ganking bot. You are also leaving the rift herald alone which is more important early than dragon, with which you can use it top again to grab the inner tower and now the jungler is most likely even and the top is a monster plus the top most likely doesn't have to die to a turret I the jungler is with him, they can probably defend. Now with a fed top laner they can take mid turret and the camps easily. The flaw is that if the top laner gets ahead I game over

How this strategy goes on an average silver to plat game.
Game starts. Janna's team already has their mentality completely ruined as they think he is trolling and they all play like shit.
Janna steals enemy buff and goes mid to help the laner push. The laner thinks Janna is trolling and decides to troll too or go afk.
Janna process to "invade with his jungler" but he is too tilted to invade and wants to farm until 15 to surrender.
Janna goes bot to help. They ignore him and later botlane goes top cause "The troll came to their lane".
Janna loses the game at 13 minutes as everyone is trolling or afk while flaming him.

This playstyle is very strong , i tried soraka top with support items once and i just try to farm and survive lane , then when teamfights start the carries are basically imortal with all the healing and cc from me and the other support.

i mean with nasus is that if everyone is even then he's fed. Janna is like the anti nasus. She has a knockback, slow and a knockup. if nasus even tries to fight he'd just get fked when their fed team collapses on nasus later
It's not a problem, in that case you just need to stall the game as much as possible, because Nasus inevitably falls off during lategame. At this point, if your mid and adc are fed enough, they can take down Nasus before he deals some really significant damage
IMO wouldnt be worse than something like a jax or camille. Nasus is even easier to shut down.

Hey Happy! I'm really glad you released this video, because now I'm seeing "smurfs"(pisslow ones) attempting Janna smite top! Works very well when they run it down lvl 2 and begins a marathon in the enemy jungle. I love finding random kills in my jungle throughout the game.

Played against a Janna like that today and made sure that the guy will never pick that again
Had my first game against this last night. Having watched this video I was able to adjust instantly with my team. My takeaways from it are
-The Janna has to play at a decent level to pull this off, I'm talking minimal mistakes VERY MINIMAL like positioning errors can't exist.
- If the mid is a nuke champ (I had lux) we just melt her face and shut it down with my wave clear followed by rotating to jungle and just killing her.
-If 1 member on the team doesn't provide damage or cc of some sort it's a guaranteed loss. We had darius just destroy top, proxy farm and kill the jungler and mid trying to stop it.
-Mid has to rotate with bot to stop it which leads to a team fight because their enemies will follow. (easy to shut down early game)
If you try this
-Never die for the buff
-Your support item sky rockets at the risk of being useless for a long time.
-Your team needs to be entirely onboard and even if they are the risk is massive. The team I vsed was a prestack 5 who knew how to make it work but their skill level fumbled it hard. (make sure your team can minimalize their errors.
-If the enemy top lane tries to rotate abort the mission for the time being.
60% win rate in masters and challenger now lol

i looked him up, he literally only plays against iron, bronze and not lvl 30 players and only in normals. i mean yeah thats some hard dedication to get 10mil points basicly stomping noobs but a bit lowlife

Be interesting to see how this would work against a Sett top. He can take tower if left alone really damn fast. He can also take damage and hit even harder, and is really hard to gank by any solo jungler.
nah, the real problem would definetely be a kayle, you simply cannot let a kayle freefarm the entire game
You cannot take it faster than the DMG Janna can do by tilting your teammates. Remember the towers have increased defense first 15 mins of game.

Actually just played this against a sett top, he took first tower pretty quick but realised he was doomed and needed to roam aswell to match my janna speed, it infact didnt work as he couldent get close even if he went 6/1 and we ended up murdering him and his entire team over and over it was really fun.
I had a game on jungle where our janna top left sett alone and we ended up without inhibitor in 13 min, she was saying leave it then we lost game lol

I like the title changes from usual "how" to "why"
This strat is a really good demonstration of how rito has messed with the basic flow of the game with plates and support items. Supports aren't meant to have a lot of gold, yet a support item has more than once enabled champs to be a second jungler without falling behind, and plates are designed to slow down how quickly top and mid can be punished, allowing someone to afk from their lane without the top laner immediately getting first tower and then matching the roam with a gold lead

Just look at season0 to 3. Sure items were made for them but the actual problem was never support it was the team or 80% of the time Ezreal who could use all items better then other roles

NASus hard counters this shit. I can't imagine a Jana top That can make enough plays on the map by 10 minutes when a free farming lucidity boots sheenasses gets a whole tower plus plates and all those stacks. That dude would have so many stacks the tower probably tower before like 10 minute

3 carries, 2 supports. One babysits, while the other forces plays via roaming.
Also, just like I always suspected, the enemy getting a gold lead soley from CS and towers is not as devastating as them getting a gold lead from kills + Cs and towers. It really is always your fault if you die in a 1v1 as literally standing at your inhibitor and watching them farm won't give them such a lead.
It might even be that if you're playing weak side in top lane, you choose a champion that works nicely even without much gold, like Sion, Cho'gath, Janna, or even aurelion sol as even when behind, he can just fly in with a massive stun and immobilise 4+ enemies so your assassins and adc's can tread easy for a little while.
Also, what a surprise, support item looking like a good thing to buy on utility champions even when in a solo lane. Even when winning! So if you're playing lee sin and the game is starting to reach 40 minutes, you know your champion isn't very effective in the late game, do you know what I'd suggest you to buy?
There was something similar I believe in season 1 or 2 - Alistar top focused on perma roams. This guy has adapted old meta to new world :D

@@end3r544 I already play nunu support like this with a duo partner. He takes some wave clear monster like sivir adc and I can go free roam the map from lvl1. But it never crossed my mind to go smite and do some nasty jng cheese as well.

Most dangerous thing about your channel is that it All sounds fun in theory, but only really works with those individuals as they have developed their unique mindset through years of league gaming
The reason this works is because jungle is far the strongest role so stopping the enemy jungler is far more important than stopping top free farming as top has the least influence. Also support is the second strongest role because they get too much free gold. Therefore janna can roam around getting all the gold she needs because of the support item. Nerf jungler and nerf support to balance the game.

i played against this guy twice, first time he fucked my team, second time i picked full ad sion and i won. so if you want to counter it just pick sion and go ad. you kill turrets so fast and you can roam as well with your ult
Yeah, hard pushing champions like tryndamere and sett as well would do good against this strat. Just buy a hullbreaker and rekt the top lane in less than 20 minutes.
And some bronzy see this, now we have a 15mins 600 stack nasus top just enjoying his gameplay

everytime I complain about "win lane lose game" because my team mates are all like 0/20 and enemy mega fed and 1 shots me.
That bounty exploit is probably the biggest brain strat i’ve seen in all these vids
Its same strat from RIver Shen tho. We had that years ago, A Shen who didn't jungle or top. He just roaming around the river, but not using smite, Just Exhaust and Ignite if i'm not mistaken.

It will be fine for high elo janna players, they make the decision where they need to be very early, so movement speed change wont affect it.
For worse janna players/supports it will be a big nerf.
Kind of questionable whether this is a good strategy. If this is actually Apo, a player who can reach rank 1 with regular Janna support, the fact the he only went to Masters with Smite Jana top is kind of proof that this strategy is more of a handicap than an advantage.

But - I can also confirm that 2 of the accounts I have found hitting master with janna top are not ap0, the main one I am still uncertain.
For some reason this is absolutly so popular on EUW right now, there are lots of people playing it and climbing well.

I mean im only gold 3 top laner, but every time I’ve encountered this strat it was such an easy win for me. Take any in meta scaling champ with teleport and farm like a monster for the first 14mins.
Stop exposing yourself to be ganked in top lane and Match any kind of roaming after 14mins, you are already up 3-4lvls and 30-50cs on everyone.
Maybe this works well in higher elo because the team can play around it, but in a lower tier like where I am, the team with janna never really gets that far ahead. Never enough to compensate for my scaling anyway.
Yo I just watched the whole vid and tried Rakan instead of Janna. I picked Predator with mobility boots to get a better roaming potential and I think it worked pretty well, you just have to tilt the enemy jungler into oblivion with the help of yours lmao.
Love these different ways to play. I don't think I'd try it though. Seems like you would need a lot of experience to know where to go and what your limits are. If you start poorly your team is going to Uber rage and int lol. Awesome to see someone else pulling it off up to master though!
I have also done that strat but with Blitzcrank or Pantheon support
