I remember playing rek’sai top with stridebreaker and serpent’s fang a few months ago and it was hilariously strong to the point it almost got me to diamond on a 43% wr account. That was until the stridebreaker dash was removed and then never played her again. Will try this out.

I started playing league like a week after reksai was released, so she’s got a soft spot in my heart. Played a few games before her ult was reworked, and really only ever play her these days on Aram with snowball. But yeah gotta admire a dude who likes a champ enough to stick with it through thick and thin. That’s loyalty right there.
I played reksai top a few months ago, It was a little different from the playstyle he shows in the video but very much the same. It is good you should try it out in some normal games.

I just got wrecked by a rek sai top as YONE which shook me since I have only ever lost lane with yone 3 other times, that brought me to this video and now I’m binging all of them, great content man!

No shot I’ve had this guy added for a few seasons on my alt account and I remember when I first looked at his match history. I thought it was so odd yet he climbed so high with it. Years later I come to this channel and find a few videos about off meta picks making it to high elo. I think to myself, maybe I should try and mention this guy I have added who plays full dmg reksai top. But first I did a little digging and here I am.

i always look for off meta picks i remember like a year or so ago when i looked at reksai and thought how good she would be toplane, i played it a bunch but didint know how to control it, i knew there was potential tho, its cool to see someone make it to challenger with the idea

At the tail end of season 10 I basically mained Crit’sai top and it was pretty baller cause the stupid amount of damage a crit Q did. I was taking first tower in sub 10 minutes and climbed quite a bit with this build. Then the crit changes happened in season 11. This effectively killed the build. Crit is still good but takes way too long to get going. Even then it was still less damage than previous seasons. So that effectively killed my crit’sai top phase. Always nice to see that other people are playing rek’sai top!
It’s always funny to see a video about a strat you do, I love rek sai and her play style, great gang setup and damage for a jungle; powerful top lane cheese and really good counter pick to melee mid champions, making irellia and yasuo feel like cannon minions is a lot of fun. Only problem is now other people are gonna know about it and she might get nerfed
On a side note I prefer HoB for the quick burst

I've tried it out before the video and it is hella good, recommend you try it. Though I use hail of blades instead of conqueror for pretty much guaranteed q damage

This strategy is on another level. It is not about abusing X champion on its off meta roll, but I would rather say, it is much fun to play champions that new way. Especially, when you already mastered, and you want something new.

I Play reksai mir since february and usually Go 3 Points in Q but in mid you face rather squishi Targets, which is why i opt for prowlers into Edge or even youmus 2nd followed by situational items such as steraks maw etc.. I have a 64.7% in euw master with this, though very Low Sample Size since i Pick it only If my enemy is melee and we already have an ap source. As for runes i usually Take Conq > Triumph > alacrity > Coup > magical footwear> cosmic Insight. Flash and prowlers CDs are Essential in early to Take over Games rather quickly.

I tried this from LOL dobby and did well, until they nerfed stride breaker. Time to see if Chime can save my reksai top
