Join me on my trip to Knott's Berry Farm as I take you on a tour of the restaurant, indulge in a delicious meal, and share my thoughts on the classic American cuisine served at this historic establishment. Come join us on an evening adventure at Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant as we enjoy a truckload of delicious fried chicken, along with classic sides like mashed potatoes and biscuits. For some basic information, Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant first opened in 1934 with Mrs. Knott and her children serving the first customers in their tea room. The restaurant has grown over the years into one of the largest in California, but the classic fried chicken dinner is still made the same way today using Mrs. Knott's recipes. Knott's Berry Farms amusement part has grown around this restaurant, as a side attraction to Mrs. Knotts's famous chicken dinner. We were staying at the Knott's Berry Farm Hotel and found it only a short walk to eat a great Chicken Dinner.

Love it, Knott's is probably my favorite amusement park. It is not well known, but it is actually America's first Theme Park. What happened is that the chicken got so popular that there were hours long lines. So Mr. Knott's started to build attractions so the people would be entertained while they waited for dinner. The first was an artificial volcano and then every year after that he added a new attraction. Today that tradition continues so every year there is something new to see at Knott's Berry Farm.
The history of Knotts is cool. Disney took many of the ideas back to his park. My parents loved going there and they would set me free to roam in the park in the 1960's.
George, that meal looked absolutely fabulous! 4 pieces of chicken all of the sides AND dessert! It’s a wonder you were still able to talk afterwards, let alone close out the video. Prices seemed a little steep. Hope it was worth the money!
I think it beats Disney at 45-65 for dinner at their park. Being in LA and at a theme park. Not so bad with the amount of food.
Last time I ate there I found a long hair in my mashed potatoes.

Are family moved to California in 86. At the time I remember Westvalley was like Mayberry. I heard WestValley is really bad now.
