  • And now in what seems to be a repeat of history in the running of government, we take a look at the similarities and otherwise between President William Ruto’s move to dissolve his cabinet and the path that the country’s third President the Late Mwai Kibaki took when he fired all his ministers and their assistants in 2005. Just like his predecessor whose loss in the 2005 Constitutional Referendum was interpreted as a vote of No confidence in his government, President Ruto has also been under pressure to defend his administration’s performance as a section of the electorate escalated their expression of displeasure with his government.

Ruto should know that the sovereign(All) power belongs to the people. This message goes even to any future leader who may tend to Ignore what the people(Employers of the president) are saying.

I think when vieng or contending for president, should only be limited to people with degree or masters in public administration or good governance career. Someone with broaden understanding of specific and develop capacity cross-cutting Kenya people issues in public policy.

Am very disappointed by Ruto to say the least and here is why, how can a leader surely be shaken by a passing cloud (Gen Z) to do unthinkable? I Mean Duale, Murkomen, Mrs Wahome (lands) and many more won their parliamentary seats then resigned so that they could help Ruto deliver then he fired them? Come on bro, that's the greatest betrayal I have ever seen ask yourself who will ever trust again?, unastuliwa na watoto then you do as they say? Uwoga ni mbaya aki to say the truth! I might not vote for Ruto next time, I mean I thought he was a warrior a no nonsense leader but how wrong I was, a president should be a leader who mean business a leader who never cower so that should the country be faced by uncertainty pioneered by some fellas that leader will have the the thrust, the fist to crush them but cowardice? That's a pretty worse way of leadership, am completely convinced Ruto will fail terrible going forward because hawa watoto wameona huyu we can twist him to do or say what we want him to do or say! Will Ruto be able to do anything substantive be it out parliament passing motions to help him? No! Will he go borrowing to help Kenya No because the same kids who made him cower will be on his case! 2027 I will not vote for Ruto naaa uwoga naaa I need a law and order president si mwoga.....

Ruto should have not declined to sign finance bill but for his cabinet, he needed an overhaul and great changes. Ruto is not likely to win elections so he may decide to work professionally rather than politician to save his image

Hawa watoto? Those are the same people who elected him. Also, a president us supposed to represent the voice of the people, not ruke with an iron fist. That is called a dictator, not a president. Au we are supposed to sit there as he raises taxes and makes things difficult for Kenyans? Halafu, those genz you speak off make up about 50 to 60 percent of voters. They elected him. Na kaa your bosses wamesema afanye kitu, hana budi ila kufanya.
